Basecamp Wales offers family-run hostel accommodation in Llanllyfni, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and 30.3 km from Pen-Y-Pass and 8.2 km to the beach at Dinas Dinlle. The rooms were big and with big bunk beds, there was potentially the space for 8 people to sleep. Everything was clean and comfy, and the host was so kind in explaining all the routes we could get to reach Mt Snowdon. I think this is one of the best places to stay if you are a tourist visiting Snowdonia!

Base Camp Snowdonia, Gwersyll Cyntaf Eryri ligger i Betws-y-Coed i Clwyd og har en fellesstue. Her bor du 19 kilometer fra Snowdon og 25 kilometer fra Snowdon Mountain Railway. This is a very nice hostel. Very cosy and very comfy 24/7 facilities. It is possible to self check in at any hour, and there is basic food to purchase in the kitchen too at any hour - quite handy (tea, coffee, beer, oatmeal, instant noodle etc). The common area is very neat and nice - i spent quite a lot of time there, chilling after a hike, cooking and eating food and even working on my laptop. I stayed in a female only dorm, that has 6 comfy beds, and there were 2 toilets and 2 showers just for our room, so i never had to wait to have a shower etc. There are hair dryers available, and a whole separate drying room both for laundry and wet clothes after a hike. Beds were perfect, pillows were perfect, not creaky as in some dorms. With very good quality bedsheets and towels. Overall, if i am in betws y coed again, i will certainly stay in Gwersyll Cyntaf Eryri.

James John Hamilton House and backpacker hostel tilbyr overnatting i Fishguard, 45 kilometer fra Folly Farm og 22 kilometer fra Roch Castle, og har grillutstyr. The owner. Steve, was more than accommodating and friendly, there were free eggs, toast cereal and coffee for breakfast, and the location was right in the middle of town. What a great stay!

Nick at the desk is great - awesome personality. Michael gave me some suggestions on where to visit next. Bunks are very comfy & cozy & there is plenty of room to sit up!, which is rare. Privacy curtains are great. Two pillows - I love that. There is a cafe so close - see photo (circled. Location is great - right across from a nature walk. A very very nice stay & I even extended another night. Book direct. A quick bus ride to Betws-y-Coed for more natural parks. I would definitely stay here again.

I Llanberis, bare 7 kilometer fra Snowdon Mountain Railway og 13 kilometer fra Snowdon ligger Lodge Dinorwig Hostel. Excellent facility, incredibly helpful stuff.

Totters Hostel ligger i Caernarfon, 13 kilometer fra Snowdon Mountain Railway, og har en fellesstue, røykfrie rom og gratis WiFi. Had a whole floor to us, they had dvds of old movies, which we watched and loved. The breakfast was nice. The host was very nice.

Bare 40 kilometer fra Chester veddeløpsbane ligger Llangollen Hostel - Book the Room - Self Catering facilities, som tilbyr 4-stjerners overnatting i Llangollen. Best place i ever stayed. Very friendly. Clean and comfortable, Special Thanks to Jamie who was very helpfull. We felt like home. Hostel is located in very good location. Definatly we go back again. Highly recommeded.
