The place is beautiful. It exceeded my expectations 👌 It has a gorgeous view and the location is perfect. Just a few steps away is the bus stop that takes you to the park entrance to start climbing and exploring the mountain. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spotless, and the shower is amazing, steaming hot with good water pressure. You enjoy taking a shower like at home. They also provide shampoo and shower gel, which is amazing in case we forget. The beds are very comfortable, and they include a towel, which is a plus I loved.

Very nice position close to the S1 stop and good self-catering facilities including a nice kitchen. The bed is comfy and i had the room of my own in the first day. Michelle and Helen are lovely people. Will choose here again if I come again. PS. it seems that it is cheaper if you book via their own website.

This place was a pleasant surprise. Nick at the desk is great - awesome personality. Michael gave me some suggestions on where to visit next. Bunks are very comfy & cozy & there is plenty of room to sit up!, which is rare. Privacy curtains are great. Two pillows - I love that. There is a cafe so close - see photo (circled. Location is great - right across from a nature walk. A very very nice stay & I even extended another night. Book direct. A quick bus ride to Betws-y-Coed for more natural parks. I would definitely stay here again.

Such a lovely place, excellent facilities, everything really well organised, spotlessly clean and a lovely cosy feel to it. Great staff, excellent communication. Amazing value for money. A real gem of a place!

Nastanitev The Butchers Arms - Grill Pub and Accommodation se nahaja v mestu Merthyr Tydfil, 43 km od znamenitosti Univerza v Cardiffu in 44 km od znamenitosti grad Cardiff. We arrived at 10 pm on a Friday night, greeted by an amazing Manageress who was so helpful considering they had a busy pub with a 50th celebration going on. We stayed here initially for the proximity to the car park to do Pen Y fan horseshoe, we couldn't have picked better. After a few drinks we met the landlord, Andrew, a fantastic, interesting, local knowledged man. Being a former mountain rescue man he advised us on many things regarding our climb, early start to see the sunrise, which direction to do the horseshoe, amongst other useful tips .He arranged water and snacks for our follow day even though its was by this time midnight. Following evening meal was so reasonably priced for the quality and size of the meal. Drinks were very well priced. All staff were amazing. Room was spotlessly clean, Views were unreal. Overlooking the mountain having Sunday morning full breakfast in the warm sun was an absolute winner. Highly recommend this place. Well Done Andrew and team
