Then, Lilia gave us a bottle of their homemade wine for free, connected us with a driver (Georgi), who arrived at 10pm at her place to arrange our next day trip, and when we checked out in the early morning she even waited with us outside until the taxi arrived.

What an enjoyment to stop in Udabno on the way to visit the Monastery of David Garedja. Time seems suspended in this isolated place surrounded by steppes stretching as far as the eye can see. Definitely worth experiencing. The host was welcoming and made our stay very pleasant, and the breakfast was very nice as well.
