The admin Sargy is such a nice, kind and interesting person. The price is pretty good for the facilities offered. From the get-go, you’re given information about where to eat, how to navigate the city, where to buy essentials and so on. The internet works well and the beds are well maintained. I am returning again for the rest of my remaining days in Tbilisi :)

Manana the host is SO kind and helpful. The home is full of awesome quirky art and the building is a local apartment complex so you get a window into local life. Neighbors are so sweet too. My laundry was hanging to dry and it rained and when I came home they’d moved it in for me 🥹 Best shower I had in all of Georgia (super hot and amazing shower head). Fantastic location! Walking distance to everything. Little market super close by for anything you need. Would definitely stay here again!

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed — the staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. Everyone was so kind and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their hospitality truly made my experience special. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

ALCATRAZ JAIL-HOSTEL is gunstig gelegen in het centrum van Tbilisi, en biedt gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie, een terras en gratis privéparkeren. This is one of the most unique and memorable hostels I’ve ever stayed in! It used to be a prison…such a creative idea and it’s been beautifully transformed into a super clean, stylish, and comfortable space. Don’t worry, it looks much less scary in real life and has a really cool vibe! 😎 The location is perfect, right in the center of Tbilisi — everything is close by. The owner is such a kind and open-hearted woman. I really enjoyed our conversation and the coffee we shared on the balcony. 🤗 A big thank-you also to Tural, who was incredibly friendly, showed me around, and even took some great photos for me! 🤗 I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone who wants a unique and welcoming place to stay with a touch of “prison-time” experience — in the best way possible. I’d love to come back to Tbilisi and stay here again! 🇬🇪 ♥️
