Further from the city so very quiet area, that’s what I wanted. Everything was clean and brand new. Spacious dorm room with bathroom. In the kitchen there is everything you need plus filtered water to drink. Stuff is really helpful and nice. Close to the beach and restaurants or coffee around as well. Only 30 minutes walk to city centre. Good common areas if you want to sit and work or just hang out with other guests. They offer yoga mats to borrow as well. I met really nice people there, other guests so we went for breakfast and ordered pizza for dinner.

Rooftop is beautiful and workout space as well. The location in town was amazing for walking to the lake or to events in San Marcos. It’s run by a friendly and accommodating family who take care of all of our needs. I wouldn’t let it concerns about the noise deter you from this gem of a space. I got used to it after the first night and didn’t even use headphones. We also had a freak accident in our room and some furniture was completely randomly damaged. It truly wasn’t our fault but I can imagine many hostel owners would have been way less understanding because it would have been plausible we’d misused their property based on what happened. They were incredibly kind in their reaction and I think it was quite generous of them.

Quiet end of town but less 5 mins to everything. Felt very safe. Good cheap laundry. Booked 3 nights ended up staying for a week. Can't recommend enough for the price.

Pim, Mitch and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. They even helped me providing first aid assistance when I fell and scratched my knee (a day after checking out) and let me stay for a few hours before my bus. Much appreciated !

Kitchen is small yet functional and Manu was so kind and helpful. The balcony, hot shower, and the neighbors cuddly cat were an enjoyable touch. Recommend trying the Thai food downstairs

Quetzaltenango Airport is 74 km away. We loved our room and the comfortable bed! It was a short stay, so we didn't use the kitchen but it is well-equipped! There is also filtered water, an electric kettle, and a coffee machine. The location is also in the center, and there is a local market right at the corner so it's easy to get some fresh fruits/veggies and snacks there too.
