This was a very nice hostel, the room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The staff were extremely friendly, helped us book the Ijen tour and transfer to Ubud both of which went very smoothly. Would stay here again.

We booked last minute after loving our stay in Zzz Malang and wow – same chill vibes. Ara was super nice and even helped us plan the next leg of our trip. Shared bathrooms were always clean and stocked. They even sent us cute café recommendations near the hostel.

It was very easy to communicate with the staff, they were very kind and helpful. We had an awesome time, the hotel exceeded our expectations, it is definitely worth its price. We would recommend it to anyone.

ZEN MOON Hostel in Yogyakarta provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a bar. Lovely hostel with cosy rooms, really comfortable mattress and a beautiful authentic Indonesian bathroom with regular!, not travel sized, container of shampoo and bath gel that smells fantastic! Wonderful hosts, always providing coffee, tea, mineral water and snacks. Plus it's location is in a small street not in the main road so it's very quiet but still a step away from everything, restaurants, shops etc. in a nice neighborhood. Great value for money!

Ranasa Yogyakarta features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and bar in Timuran. Bed comfortable, great airconditioning in dorm rooms, hot showers, clean. Quiet spot with treed yard, hammocks, and small pool (lovely in to chill, but too shallow to really swim or tread water). Dorms are only four beds to a room, so pretty quiet and spacious. Curtain, reading light, power outlet, and tiny shelf in each bunk. Lockers are available (fit medium-large bag), and are conveniently outside the rooms (so more quiet). Staff are very kind and very helpful with logistics questions. Appreciated the water refill (to avoid plastic disposables). Vegetarian pancakes and fruit available for breakfast. Walking distance from lots of great restaurants, the cool/hip Jl. Prawirotaman street, and Alun-Alun Kidul.

I would recommend to anyone. It’s about a 15-20 min grab ride from the train station and about a 5 min grab ride from the center of the city. The WiFi is really good. The aircon great. The dorm room is comfortable with curtains. The staff is lovely and will help you with anything you need. I really enjoyed my stay here

Snooze Malang in Malang provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a terrace. I really like staying at Snooze. It reminded me the summer time when I was a child. Everything there is clean and the common area is cozy. I’m glad to book Snooze again in Malang after I left Yogyakarta where I stayed at Snooze for 4 nights. Un fortunately, I only booked 1 nights as it’s fully booked. They arranged the trip to the waterfall and Bromo and booked the shuttle bus ticket to Surabaya for me. Even after I checked out, still felt free to use the bathroom and common area to take a rest. Felt like at home! I really appreciate their help which made my traveling in Indonesia easier. It’s one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed. I’ll come back to Snooze if I visit Indonesia again in the future!
