It was only 1 night as I was passing through. The welcome was wonderful the staff lovely. The guests at the time were a lovely mix of delightful characters!

Stayed one night at Red Capsule Hostel before my flight — it was a great choice for a short stay. The capsule was clean, comfortable, and the facilities seemed well-kept. I didn’t have time to explore much, but from what I saw, it’s a solid spot for a quick stopover in Medan. Would consider staying again for a longer visit.

I have to say, from the outside, it's not the best by look but honestly the warm energy you receive from the owner makes you turn a blind eye on everything around and also it's actually a meeting point for soo many backpackers either arriving in Melan or just leaving!

يقع مكان إقامة "Medan Dazhong Backpacker's Hostel" في ميدان. يبعد مكان الإقامة تقريباً مسافة 2.9 كم عن قصر Maimun، و3.2 كم عن مسجد ميدان الكبير، و1.7 كم عن Pajak Ikan Medan. The owner is a very nice man, helpful in any way he can help with. Providing tips for travellers and arranging tour with the people he knows across the region. He gives honnest prices and don't try to scam you. Of course you need to dare talk to people to have a good experience.

يقع مكان إقامة "Pondok Wisata Istana XI" في ميدان، ضمن 400 م من مسجد ميدان الكبير و3.3 كم من محطة قطار Medan. يتميز مكان الإقامة بأنه مخصص لغير المدخنين، وهو يقع على بُعد 500 م من قصر Maimun. First very disapointed because the booked superior room was very dirty and had a very bad smell inside. Bought an upgrade to VIP room, it was much better and my stay was fine. Bed was big and comfy, facilities to make tea/coffee in room. A/C worked fine. Alfa Mart near to hotel.
