The host is a really chill, down-to-earth guy who genuinely cares about his guests. He was very accommodating to my situation and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. The room was clean, spacious, and a great place to relax after a long day. At first, I wasn’t planning to do the trekking because it was a bit out of my budget, and we initially disagreed on the price. But despite that, he went as far as to let me set up my tent on his property for free to ensure my safety, which really showed his kindness and hospitality. One important thing to note—before booking, make sure you can afford the trekking with him. He’s very passionate about it, and there could be some misunderstandings if you stay without booking a trek. But overall, if you’re looking for a welcoming place with a great host and a solid trekking experience, this is a great choice!

Had an amazing stay at Salty Dog Hostel. The most beautiful sunsets are there and surf is about 20 mins away. Arif is the most genuine and helpful person we have met in Indonesia, and he's surely the coolest guy on Nias! He helped us out on many occasions and always offered genuine advice and willingness to share the Nias culture. Thanks for the great time and see you again!

Medan Tren İstasyonu noktasına 1,8 km, Maimun Sarayı noktasına 4 km mesafede yer alan RedDoorz Hostel @ Capsule Inn Medan tesisi, Medan şehrinde klima ve ortak banyo imkanına sahip odalar sağlar. Located in Little India. Many eateries and bakeries nearby. Mini-marts and two shopping malls a few minutes away. Staff friendly and efficient. Check in and out was a breeze. Thin blanket, towels and drinking water were given upon checking in. Instructions were clearly given. There is a separate locker for shoes located outside the capsule room and a bigger locker for luggages in the capsule room. Anyone with huge backpack or luggage will really have difficulty fitting into the luggage locker. There is no elevator and female room is on the second level and male is on the third. Capsule is of decent size and comfortable. There is a key card to access the pod and also to turn on the lights just like a hotel room. Adequate lightings in the pod and comes with 2 USB slow charging port. No power point in the pod. Power point is located in the common area. Air con is strong. No complains regarding wifi connection. There is even a TV if ever it is working. Overall, very quiet and peaceful. Shared bathroom has 2 shower stalls and 2 toilets. Probable will be insufficient should the property be full house.

Maimun Sarayı noktasına 2,9 km, Medan Büyük Camii noktasına 3,2 km mesafede bulunan Medan Dazhong Backpacker's Hostel tesisi, Medan şehrinde odalar sunar. Very friendly staff and owner. Also very helpfull when you need or want something. The best thing we could do was book the jungle trek tour. Our guide Edi Caterpilar was doing great teaching us all the stuff he knows about the jungle. We saw many oeran-oetangs and other monkeys. Also other animals like a weird river-turtle. Rafting in the end is also worth doing, very nice ending of the trip!

Medan Dazhong Backpacker's Hostel, Medan şehrinde yer alan bir tesistir. The owner is a very nice man, helpful in any way he can help with. Providing tips for travellers and arranging tour with the people he knows across the region. He gives honnest prices and don't try to scam you. Of course you need to dare talk to people to have a good experience.

Medan şehrinde yer alan Pondok Wisata Istana XI tesisi; Medan Büyük Camii noktasına 400 m, Medan Tren İstasyonu noktasına 3,3 km mesafededir. First very disapointed because the booked superior room was very dirty and had a very bad smell inside. Bought an upgrade to VIP room, it was much better and my stay was fine. Bed was big and comfy, facilities to make tea/coffee in room. A/C worked fine. Alfa Mart near to hotel.
