You have the option to have a delicious Assamese home cooked meal in the evenings and I also rented a bike to explore for the day. It is peaceful and has a beautiful garden. My stay at Nomad Hostel was exceptional in every way. Every department—from cleanliness to hospitality—does an amazing job. The best part is the freedom you get here: you can cook your own food and even wash your clothes, which truly makes it feel like a second home. The owners are wonderful human beings, extremely helpful and friendly. If I visit Guwahati again, I will definitely stay at Nomad Hostel without a second thought. The location is also perfect—you can easily get a taxi to Shillong and move around the city with no hassle. In short, it’s the best hostel in the city. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere was vibrant yet comfortable, perfect for travellers looking for both relaxation and connection. The rooms and common areas were very clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for backpackers. Overall, our experience was fantastic. The warmth of the owner and the courteous behaviour of the staff truly made our stay memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a homely, friendly, and hassle-free stay!
