Set in Gangtok, 1.2 km from Ganesh Tok View Point, Cosmic Buddha Bnb features views of the mountain. The place is really nice and clean. I am sure because its recently opened. Met the host Hersh there. Such a good vibe he is. Happy to have good travel experience after long time. Must recommended for travellers and backpackers.

Situated in Gangtok, 1.6 km from Palzor Stadium, Tashila Hostel features accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a bar. The common area is what strikes your eyes. It's stunning and it is as per the photos. Spacious, beautiful interiors, comfortable sofas. There are also 2 balconies to seat and chat, smoking or simply enjoying the mountains. The building is clean and the amenities are working. The dorm has lockers and clean bed linen. Bathrooms are clean with hot water and a there is also a kitchen to cook your meals. Tashi, the owner, and Srijana, the receptionist, are easygoing and very friendly. I felt being in a home with good friends not just in a hostel. I stayed longer than planned and it was hard to leave this oasis of peace. The area has a view to the mountains, food shops nearby, taxi stands and if you like to walk, as I do, you can explore the sorroundings. Easily it's one of the best places I stayed in India.

Zostel Rinchenpong, Pelling in Rinchingpong has a garden and a shared lounge. There is a restaurant serving Indian cuisine, and free private parking is available. I really loved the location. It was very serene and quiet. The host and the staff ( Lawrence especially)were friendly and helpful. Also, the food was organic and delicious. Big thanks to the chef! I stayed alone for 11 days and it was quite safe.
