Me and my partner booked a private stay and loved our time. The place is very beautiful with an amazing view of the valley. It's also in close proximity ( approx 2 km walking) of the Kodai town, making it an ideal place if you love to Walk and enjoy the quiet (we ended up doing a lot of walking, as we like it!!) The hosts are amazing, they are very approachable and cool people to hang around with. The food is yummy as well:) Highly recommended if you are looking for even a private stay with a bit of socializing (you can choose not to as well ☺️). I was also working the whole time I was there, they have a very good and stable Internet connection, making it a good option for digital nomads.

Sri Aurobindo Ashram fica a 10 km de distância. the guys at the hostel were extremely helpful, accommodating and very friendly. they try to organize events most days for the guests -eg sing song around the bonfire, going to the beach, local musicians, movie night etc. The location, while a little bit outside the main 'town area" is still only 30 mins walk to pretty much the main attractions in Auroville - Visitors center, Matrimandir, Savitri Bhavan,. A nice bakery and ATMs, shops are again about 30 mins walk. There are a few restaurants about 20 mins walk away. I loved that the hostel is in a quiet location near the forest - less traffic noises. Meals are also available (breakfast, lunch, dinner- at an extra cost 150-200 rupees) , and laundry services as well. They also have a couple of bikes which can be rented. Great place - well worth the visit especially if you are on a budget

The experience was great, the room is clean, the hostel has very nice rooftop to do whatever you want, and you also have kitchen and laundry machine, in addition the hostel does whatever it can against mosquitoes, and the staff are there for every question or recommendation. The location is great walking distance from a lot of places but still not in the super touristy area, also very close to the ferry.

O ar condicionado fica ligado o dia todo e no geral achei silencioso, as camas são confortáveis, tem privacidade (cortina) e tudo é muito limpo e organizado eu fiquei muito satisfeita.
