Located in Seydisfjördur village, this hostel offers a rooms with a seating area, fjord views and free Wi-Fi. Seydisfjördur Swimming Pool is just 30 metres away. Parking is free at the hotel. Charming hostel, with a staff that is welcoming. Wonderful for a longer stay to explore the area. The sauna was a big plus.

The host was very pleasant and gave me a lift to the correct building after discovering I was in the wrong one ! I thought that, due a few art students floating around (they were there for a residency) that it was open, and simply not fully in gear yet because it was the very start of the season... I got to the building I was actually supposed to be in and found that that very much wasn't the case! Well stocked facilities, like milk frothers, and if you had a bit of change, use of a coffee machine, plenty of cutlery, with books, jenga and chess, and lots of table space too. The view was gorgeous. I couldn't stop staring out the window in disbelief. The room had its own sink, which was very nice! I had a lovely stay :)
