Berunes is a historic, family-run farm by the Ring Road, 35 km from Djúpivogur, quietly set on a fjord between mountains and sea. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. This is a cosy country home. The interior is truly remarkable with the colorful interior, wooden floor and original furniture. And everywhere are books and magazines for guests to take a moment to flick through and read. We also enjoyed the restaurant and the friendly staff. They know exactly when to be your friend chatting about the best of Iceland when to take orders or help with bags, and when to leave guests alone. This makes the stay very relaxing.

Húsey Hostel & Horsefarm features accommodation 55 km from Egilsstadir. The hostel has family rooms. At the hostel the rooms include a shared bathroom with a shower. The farm is located in the most beautiful scenery and although one could say it's a bit isolated the location is just perfect for the purpose. The place is charming and genuine with tons of character and atmosphere. The best part however is definately the staff. The ladies of the house were extremely welcoming and lovely. We enjoyed our stay to the full and were so happy to have the chance for a ride with the amazing horses. Loved every bit of it.

Located in Seydisfjördur village, this hostel offers a rooms with a seating area, fjord views and free Wi-Fi. Seydisfjördur Swimming Pool is just 30 metres away. Parking is free at the hotel. the hostel has a pleasant atmosphere, interesting history, uniques design, we've met one staff member and he was super friendly and helpful in every way. I would definitely recommend it for other travellers. ahh and I loved that guests were given freedom to use the sauna anytime.

Located in Djúpivogur village, this hostel offers rooms with free WiFi. The rooms are located in a separate house, while there is a shared kitchen in the main building. Located with scenic view and right next to a pool. I would highly recommend booking this place when staying in Djúpivogur!

Objekt Hafaldan HI Hostel - Harbour Building nalazi se u gradu 'Seyðisfjörður', na 4,1 km od znamenitosti Gufu Waterfall, te nudi smještaj koji sadrži zajednički salon, besplatno privatno parkiralište... Absolutely lovely stay here, there is a beautiful cat there to greet you (Brossi I believe his name was). The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The shared kitchen and lounge area is very cosy and there are music instrument to play around with too.
