Berunes is a historic, family-run farm by the Ring Road, 35 km from Djúpivogur, quietly set on a fjord between mountains and sea. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. 100/10 stay. One of our absolute favorite and most memorable places during our Iceland trip. The accommodation was so homey and well designed and spacious. Perfect for our family and baby. The restaurant was delicious and adorable as well as the breakfast. The owners were kind and thoughtful and we learned so much about the history of the lodge. The surrounding area was stunning and I would recommend everyone to stay here during their stay along the ring road!!

Húsey Hostel & Horsefarm features accommodation 55 km from Egilsstadir. The hostel has family rooms. At the hostel the rooms include a shared bathroom with a shower. Amazing secluded location. Best views and best host. Must do the horse riding, the horses were lovely and the host took great care of us. I wish I was staying here for longer.

Located in Seydisfjördur village, this hostel offers a rooms with a seating area, fjord views and free Wi-Fi. Seydisfjördur Swimming Pool is just 30 metres away. Parking is free at the hotel. The team was extremely helpful 👏 I also liked that there was a good coffee machine 😀 and Oatmilk, at no other hostel I've been to in Iceland they have that. The whole hostel was super clean 👌 and still they had only 3 workers, which I thought was almost impossible, but they were extremely thorough and fast. I will go there again! Thank you to Sara especially, you are one of a kind ❤️

I Seyðisfjörður, 4,1 kilometer fra Gufu Waterfall, ligger Hafaldan HI Hostel - Harbour Building, som har en fellesstue, gratis privat parkering og grillutstyr. Hyggelig og laidback, god seng med høyt under taket i nederkøya. Rent og ryddig. Godt utstyrt kjøkken.
