Húsey Hostel & Horsefarm features accommodation 55 km from Egilsstadir. The hostel has family rooms. At the hostel the rooms include a shared bathroom with a shower. The farm is located in the most beautiful scenery and although one could say it's a bit isolated the location is just perfect for the purpose. The place is charming and genuine with tons of character and atmosphere. The best part however is definately the staff. The ladies of the house were extremely welcoming and lovely. We enjoyed our stay to the full and were so happy to have the chance for a ride with the amazing horses. Loved every bit of it.

Parking is free at the hotel. the hostel has a pleasant atmosphere, interesting history, uniques design, we've met one staff member and he was super friendly and helpful in every way. I would definitely recommend it for other travellers. ahh and I loved that guests were given freedom to use the sauna anytime.
