Situated on western Iceland’s Snaefellsnes Peninsula, this former fish processing factory has been converted into a professional theatre and artsy hostel. Free WiFi access is available throughout. I liked that it was one of the cheapest stays in Iceland. It was very accessible to places I wanted to cover in the Snaefellness peninsula. It was just 25mins from Kirkufell to hike and also just 30mins to the Snæfellsjökull national park too. The staff were very friendly, they've created a very communal atmosphere, they encouraged me to sing in the Karaoke nights.

Grundarfjordur Hostel is located in Grundarfjordur village on Snæfellsness Peninsula. It offers free parking and individually decorated guest rooms with free WiFi access. Great place for budget stay, well equipped kitchen

Snorrastaðir Guesthouse ligger i Kolbeinsstaðir. Overnattingsstedet har rom med utsikt over fjellet i tillegg til terrasse. På Snorrastaðir Guesthouse er alle rommene utstyrt med felles bad med dusj. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful! They were available when needed and delightful to speak with. Location was lovely and had a beautiful view!
