Dopa Hostel is located Bologna, a 10-minute walk from the Cathedral and 350 metres from Palazzo Poggi Museum. It features free WiFi throughout. The hostel was so homely and they made a big effort to facilitate interactions between everyone which was really nice for a solo traveller. The hostel was clean and the rooms were comfortable.

Small games were available, the novels were available to read, cookies in the main lobby. And the place was really aesthetic.. I am happy with my stay at the host.

If you are walking the Via degli Dei or looking for a peaceful place to stay close to nature, don't look any further. We (a couple in their early 30s) stayed at the Refugio for one night in a 4-bed dorm room. These were the first bunk beds in a long time, where you couldn't actually feel it all moving when the other person moved a finger! They were super comfortable too, and if you are not hauling your sleeping bag around, it is possible to ask for bedsheets as well. The bathrooms looked like they were recently renovated and were super clean. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious and plentiful and provided the opportunity to connect with the other hikers. Wifi is available at the property but be prepared for spotty phone coverage (or maybe it was just our provider).

The staff was really kind and the social spaces are really well organized. Plus the breakfast has a lot of good options and it was a plus. Good place to meet other travelers
