I contacted Fabrizio to ask if we could drop off our luggage. There was no issue with that at all, but Fabrizio also offered to message us when our room was ready - and he did a couple of hours before standard check-in time.

Me encanto esta hostal, tiene un ambiente muy acogedor donde todas las voluntarias te hacen sentir muy a gusto, te ayudan a orientarte y te dan ideas para organizar tu día. Las habitaciones son bastante amplias, con lockers personales y los baños son limpios y amplios. Tienen cositas para el desayuno de cortesía pero si prefieres puedes comprar tus cosas y hacer tu propia comida ya que la cocina es muy acogedora y tiene todo lo necesario para esto. Cercano a la parada de buses y a un par de cuadras de la estación de trenes.

El Grand Hostel Manin está situado en La Spezia, a 15 minutos a pie de la estación de tren de La Spezia Centrale y a 300 metros del puerto de ferris, ambos con enlaces con el parque nacional Cinque... The staff was the best, they made my trip easier.

An industrial-scale hostel (three floors, 10 or more rooms on each), which is pretty well managed. Central location, 12 minutes walking distance from the Brignole railway station, 30 min - from the Piazza Principe station. Windows face a street with no traffic. Clean, toilets and showers are in a good condition. Each room with 6 bunks has its own toilet and a shower (mostly separate, some combo). Shower cabins are spacious and comfortable. The bunks have curtains, individual lamps and electric sockets (220V + USB). Ingenius system - each guest has an individual code which opens the room, the toilet, the shower and the hostel door after midnight. Good mattrasses; sheets are changed regularly. Individual lockers are of decent size and can be secured with a padlock (if you have one). Kitchen has nearly all the necessary things (but I could not find a corkscrew!), there are three fridges (one is in the TV room) and plenty of space to store the food. Around 8 p.m. there is a kind of rush hour in the kitchen, all 4 available burners are in a high demand. There is a decent pub on the ground floor. Small gym (have not used it), tennis table (same), a large TV set in the common area (same).

I only have positive things to say about my time at the hostel. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Biassa is located outside la Spezia and has limited access to the city. However, I personally didn't find that bad, but I was able to watch wild boars running free at night, which was definitely a personal highlight for me. Down at the end of the road there is a small shop run by Gloria, she is a warm and lovely woman who always has a suitable and tasty recommendation on how to best fill the day. The crew at the hostel are also very keen to make sure that guests feel comfortable and are always in a good mood. Be it through delicious dishes or individual requests. Manena Hostel Genova tiene una ubicación ideal en el barrio de Genoa Historical Centre, a a menos de 1 km de University of Genoa, a 7 minutos a pie de Aquarium of Genoa y a 7 km de Port of Genoa. The atmosphere was like home because it's an old building with high ceilings and big, wide doors. It felt like I was back home in Ukraine. It was great that breakfast was included in the price. There were always drinks, juices, and milk available to keep in the fridge. The bathroom was clean. There was a large desk in a quiet room, where I even managed to work for half a day. It was wonderful.
