I was quite anxious to stay in the hostel cause I have never stayed in this type of accommodation and my daughter stayed only for one night to help me settle here. I was pleasantly surprised how good my stay was here. From the warm welcome to the very clean room and shared areas. The hostel was very well equipped : the kitchen had everything you could need and more . There were very good lounging spots inside and outside, also a concert on one of the evenings. Everyone was so helpful as I'm not fluent in English and helped me to organise a boat trip. I just want to say that it was one of the best decisions to stay here.

The city center is easily accessible, and a bus station is conveniently located within a five-minute walk, offering routes to various surrounding areas.

Located in the centre of Catania, Ostello degli Elefanti is set in a historic building. Guests can relax on the sun terrace. This hostel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was absolutely amazing — from the ceiling frescoes to the breakfast with fresh fruit and the free evening pasta. And of course, the view from the small balcony straight onto Catania’s main square is simply incredible. The people are wonderful, the conditions are very comfortable, and there is access to a rooftop terrace as well. This place is truly special. I highly recommend it. Ten out of ten.

This is an excellent place to stay. You can meet many people from diverse nationalities. Very friendly staff. Nice prices at the bar. The rooms and facilities are very clean. I could also practice my Italian with the staff and the ambient is made to have a social vibe in the common areas. Very good location, near to the local fish markets and Quattro Canti which is the touristic heart of Palermo. This an exceptional hostel, also the train station close to the hostel for going straight away to the airport which is Palermo Lolli which is less than a 10 minutes walk.
