The bar was an excellent setup. The staff was so engaging, and I had the opportunity to get along with fellow travelers. The bed was very soft. But it wasn't a good choice for my neck. I prefer a sturdy mattress. I'm not complaining; it just didn't work out well for me. The room had enough space to keep our backpacks and to walk. It wasn't too narrow, and there was enough space to walk without getting bumped into anything.

Everything was good for short stay. Clean. Helpfull staff. Close to bus stop, close to must visit places, restaurants and shopping area. Close to ferry to Miyajima island.

Guest house BLANC is nicely located by the river. We easily find it. From Hiroshima station we took a bus line 50, after 6 stations and a short walk, we were there. It is a nice walk to the center and the Peace Memorial Park. Our room (5F, A) was very big. With 3 regular beds. And they have elevator! In living space you can use refrigirator and kitchen. We were very happy with coffee bags they have for our disposal. There are many showers and toilets. And everything is very clean. Stuff is also very nice. This morning we were trying to call the Uber to get to the station, they saw us, ask as where we are going, and offered us a ride, since they were going in the same direction. ♥️ really appreciated! Very nice.

I had a very nice and comfortable, wonderful experience at Shiokaze Guesthouse for a week. The acommodation is very clean, has a laundry and drying machine, a kitchen with fridge and microwave... it's less than a 10 minute walk to the area of restaurants. And Emi-san is lovely, helpful and a pleasure to meet. 恵美さん、色々ありがとうございました！

The staff is super friendly and the hostel is on a 10min walk from the train station. Everything was very clean and there's a big lounge room. Just note that the beds in the dorms have typical thin Japanese mattresses. It didn't bother me but it might be too hard to sleep on for some.
