The place is very well kept and very welcoming. I knew I was in for a good time when I arrived to check in and was offered a welcome drink and one of the controllers for mario party. The location is walkable from the station and the castle, and just by the san-yo line (the fastest way to miyajima). Will definitely be staying again if I come back this way.

Berlokasi strategis di wilayah Hiroshima City Centre di Hiroshima, Guesthouse Akicafe Inn berlokasi 4 menit jalan kaki dari Stasiun Hiroshima, 1,2 km dari Chosho-in Temple, dan 16 menit jalan kaki... the staff was very welcoming upon check in. my floor had great amenities and there is a nice chill spot downstairs to hang out. there's space downstairs to store your luggage before check in/after check out but it's not locked. i didn't mind but for those who do, bring a lock for your belongings. the "locker"/safe inside your bunk is huge but requires your own padlock. i didn't use it but it was nice to have extra space. this place is also located really close to the station. i liked the design of the bed. the staff was also very understanding of a personal issue i had when i checked out ><

Rina-san runs a very neat hostel that is open to all travellers! The experience was amazing and she really emphasasises the local attractions, compared to the touristy ones! When i go back to hiroshima, I will book my stay at otomachi kanran!!!!

I enjoyed the reception and welcome at check in. The place is an old traditional Japanese place, but it’s been kept very nice and clean and the facilities like bathrooms are all renovated. There is a very nice lounge and kitchen. There are tea and coffee, self service. It’s almost in front of the ferry port, and in walking distance (~10 minutes) to Kousanji (temple) and the hill of hope.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Everything was clearly explained when we checked-in, everything was clean and the location was great. It is close to Hiroshima Main Station, as well as many restaurants. Check out was also incredibly easy. My friend and I had a fantastic stay here, and we are likely to return in the future to see more of Hiroshima.
