This hostel is up on a hill, which means you have to walk about 15 minutes to get to the convenience store — but it's totally worth it! You can lie in bed and watch the clouds drifting across the sky, and when you stand up, the sea comes into view through the window. I loved listening to the sound of the waves from my room. Sitting on the bench, feeling the breeze, and just relaxing made me truly happy.

Perfect place to stay before and after hiking, 5 min away from the station, really good view from the lounge and it was the perfect temperature at night to rest, around end of June, after hiking mount Yotei. The owner is such a nice guy, knowledgeable about hiking too, he drove me to the trailhead in the morning ! The bed were confortable and clean, like everything else in this place.

Probably the best hostel i've stayed at in my 3 weeks in Japan. They have everything you need from basic capsule hotel amenities, kitchen space, coin laundry, iron, bathrooms in your floor and at the communal area and a huge space for your bed. It's also right smack in the middle of the city, everything is of walking distance. Oodori park is only a few meters away. There are a lot of food option outside, even convenience stores and cafes. They have the nicest staff as well.
