Yu at reception was really helpful and had a lot of information and tips for the area. Very friendly staff in general as well. Food, both dinner and breakfast were great, so was the welcome drink. Nice room, with a great bed and pillows. Good and clean shower facilities as well. At a walking distance from the station in a quiet neighborhood.

HakoneHOSTEL1914 is located in Hakone, 6 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Train and bus services are available. All rooms are air conditioned. Shared bathroom. The host Kana is a really nice host and she helped us with suggestions on hiking routes and booking reservations for food and Onsen! Highly recommend to stay :) The hostel is also in an old post office and it is very cute and vintage!

I loved staying here! The K bus stops nearby for a quick return from a day exploring. We booked a private room and it was bigger than I thought with lots of windows. Me and my daughter enjoyed the onsen while it was quiet and my tattoos were not an issue. The staff were very helpful and showed us around the establishment making us feel welcomed. The only bad part was that we only stayed two nights!

I stayed here near new year’s eve until the new year. The place is not far from Yugawara station and kombinis. The place felt homey; I really liked the mattress and blanket, so comfy I always woke up late. I didn’t talk much with the staff, I wish I could but language barrier sucked. However, from the little interaction I had, you can tell he was sympa and actually wanted to interact and talk more with the guests. He offered me NYE soba which was very very nice.

I loved the space and the bathroom. There was enough space it didn't feel too small. The bed and blankets were very nice as well. Recommend! Right across from the Odawara Castle and an easy walk from the train station.

Open in April 2017, IZA Enoshima Guest House is located just a 3-minute walk from Enoshima Station and a 5-minute stroll from Katase-Enoshima Station. Very nice place and excellent location. Staff is very friendly. Comfortable beds.

The hostel was excellent, especially the staff member ITO. He was always opening up conversation and gave amazing recommendations for the area. Would recommend and stay again.
