Boasting a garden, Japanese Traditional Inn Kamakura Rakuan is set in Kamakura in the Kanagawa region, 200 metres from Yuigahama Beach and 3.4 km from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. Wonderful traditional house with perfect amenities for a family stay. We stayed here with a small child, and enjoyed our time here. The room is spacious and clean. Bathrooms and the shared kitchen are exceptionally equipped, there were even coffee filters and beans provided for Hario V60 brewer! We had a great time, totally recommended.

Situated in Yugawara and with Hakone-Yumoto Station reachable within 20 km, GROUNDWORK Guesthouse & Lounge features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. I stayed here near new year’s eve until the new year. The place is not far from Yugawara station and kombinis. The place felt homey; I really liked the mattress and blanket, so comfy I always woke up late. I didn’t talk much with the staff, I wish I could but language barrier sucked. However, from the little interaction I had, you can tell he was sympa and actually wanted to interact and talk more with the guests. He offered me NYE soba which was very very nice.

We loved our stay at "Have a Nice Day" and would recommend it to family and friends. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The facilities are great and its presented with so much love and care. The location is great and does not really come out on the photos. You are literally opposite Odawara Castle and in the middle of the town. A little gem and one of the best places we stayed during our tour.

Open in April 2017, IZA Enoshima Guest House is located just a 3-minute walk from Enoshima Station and a 5-minute stroll from Katase-Enoshima Station. The hotel was so clean. All of the staff of this hotel were very good person. Location was perfect. Room was so clean. Hotel environment was very friendly. There were many facilities. And all services were excellent.

Plumhostel is set in Odawara, 1.4 km from Miyukinohama Beach and 6.7 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Clean and really comfortable. Everything was hassle free :)

Featuring a bar, Guest House Kamejikan -turtle time- is set in Kamakura in the Kanagawa region, 400 metres from Zaimokuza Beach and 2.5 km from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. Incredibly friendly staff. Nice and quiet location. Close to the beach. We loved sleeping in this traditional Japanese way. Would recommend and would go again!
