The staff can also speak English, although I speak Japanese to them. I think this hotel is very ideal not only for solo travellers, but also for groups of 2-4 people travelling together. I also recommend trying their Private Onsen. Will return again soon :)

HakoneHOSTEL1914 is located in Hakone, 6 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Train and bus services are available. All rooms are air conditioned. Shared bathroom. The owner of the hostel is just amazing ! Such a lovely person willing to help you with your plans! The hostel itself is so pretty and conformable, clean and it has a quite big common room to chill.

Nestled a 15-minute up-hill walk or a 4-minute bus ride away from Hakone Yumoto Station, Onsen Hostel K's House Hakone offers free WiFi throughout the entire property and an open-air hot-spring bath. The onson was amazing, and I only had time for the outside one.The staff were very friendly and helpful,the kitchen was well equipped and there is a lovely relaxing sitting room which was a great place for mingling,and the the whole gostel was asthetic ,clean and comfortable.It was a short bus ride up from the station and a easy walk down.Its possible to walk there but it is uphill

Wonderful traditional house with perfect amenities for a family stay. We stayed here with a small child, and enjoyed our time here. The room is spacious and clean. Bathrooms and the shared kitchen are exceptionally equipped, there were even coffee filters and beans provided for Hario V60 brewer! We had a great time, totally recommended.

I stayed here near new year’s eve until the new year. The place is not far from Yugawara station and kombinis. The place felt homey; I really liked the mattress and blanket, so comfy I always woke up late. I didn’t talk much with the staff, I wish I could but language barrier sucked. However, from the little interaction I had, you can tell he was sympa and actually wanted to interact and talk more with the guests. He offered me NYE soba which was very very nice.

Objekt Hostel Have a Nice Day! ドミトリー 個室ルームあり#HVNI nalazi se u gradu 'Odawara', na 7 min hoda od znamenitosti Plaža Miyukinohama i 6,2 km od znamenitosti Željeznički kolodvor Hakone-Yumoto, a sadrži... I loved the space and the bathroom. There was enough space it didn't feel too small. The bed and blankets were very nice as well. Recommend! Right across from the Odawara Castle and an easy walk from the train station.

Open in April 2017, IZA Enoshima Guest House is located just a 3-minute walk from Enoshima Station and a 5-minute stroll from Katase-Enoshima Station. Clean, comfortable, location is very ideal!
