I think this hotel is very ideal not only for solo travellers, but also for groups of 2-4 people travelling together. I also recommend trying their Private Onsen. Will return again soon :)

Such a lovely person willing to help you with your plans! The hostel itself is so pretty and conformable, clean and it has a quite big common room to chill.

I stayed here near new year’s eve until the new year. The place is not far from Yugawara station and kombinis. The place felt homey; I really liked the mattress and blanket, so comfy I always woke up late. I didn’t talk much with the staff, I wish I could but language barrier sucked. However, from the little interaction I had, you can tell he was sympa and actually wanted to interact and talk more with the guests. He offered me NYE soba which was very very nice.
