HakoneHOSTEL1914 is located in Hakone, 6 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Train and bus services are available. All rooms are air conditioned. Shared bathroom. The owner was so polite. She organized everything for us. Called the onsen and the restaurant for a reservation and was always there for a little chat in the entrance hall.

I did the upgrade for a private room. It was absolutely amazing!!! A view to just stay in the room and relax. The team was super helpful and hospitable.

I stayed here near new year’s eve until the new year. The place is not far from Yugawara station and kombinis. The place felt homey; I really liked the mattress and blanket, so comfy I always woke up late. I didn’t talk much with the staff, I wish I could but language barrier sucked. However, from the little interaction I had, you can tell he was sympa and actually wanted to interact and talk more with the guests. He offered me NYE soba which was very very nice.

There was enough space it didn't feel too small. The bed and blankets were very nice as well. Recommend! Right across from the Odawara Castle and an easy walk from the train station.

Open in April 2017, IZA Enoshima Guest House is located just a 3-minute walk from Enoshima Station and a 5-minute stroll from Katase-Enoshima Station. Perfect !! Very cosy, welcoming host, good location !
