Very welcoming. We arrived later than expected and staff provided clear instructions about how to "check in." Common space (kitchen and dining room and lounge) were exceptional and well suited for budget travelers. Binders with information about the region, etc. were very informative. My daughter and I stayed in a family room and were very comfortable. We enjoyed both the inside and outside onsen.

Though we speak only a bit since we stayed for just the night, Mr Kageyama was probably the nicest host we had in Japan, contacting us after we left to check out our stay was good and giving us recomendations were to go. It is a honest traditional japanese house, not a hotel that pretends to be one, so is nice staying in the real deal. Really close to the train station as well

Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery oferece acomodação com bicicletas grátis, estacionamento privativo grátis, jardim e lounge compartilhado em Minakami. Everything was great. Craig and all the staff were wonderful and made us feel like home. They had great tips for things to do in the area, gave us rides from/to town, and also helped make reservations. The e-bikes made getting around super smooth. Breakfast and coffee every morning were top notch. And finally the lodge itself was spotless and in a super beautiful and peaceful area, with hikes starting pretty much right outside the door

Comfortable apartment with balcony. Small apartment tower design allows great cross ventilation and sunlight access. Excellent location close to Ueno train station and several subway stations as well as many excellent neighbourhoods

Em Kawagoe, ちゃぶだい Guesthouse, Cafe&Bar oferece jardim, terraço, bar, além de Wi-Fi grátis em toda a propriedade. Great place! The staff is lovely, and super sociable. The house is very beautiful, and the room is cosy. Not too many guests, so it feels nice. I had good fun with the staff and the locals in the evening, and at breakfast time.
