Hilo Hostel ligt in Nara, op minder dan 1 km van station Nara en 18 km van Iwafune Shrine. The owners are extremely attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming and quiet. I slept on the last floor, so for guests carrying a big luggage, I recommend to bring a duffel bag or similar to bring your belongings upstairs. Although the owners did not hesitate for a second to bring my luggage, it was good sense to leave it on the ground floor and bringing only the items to be used (toiletry, pajamas, etc). The shared room has enough space to circulate. If you prefer to sleep in the dark, I recommend you bring the sleeping mask, as the lights remain on until the last guest sleeps. The shower is good , and you will have a nice hot water. The location is very close to the train station and to the Sanjo Dori street.

Piece Hostel Kyoto werd in april 2013 geopend met gloednieuwe faciliteiten en ligt op een gunstige locatie, op slechts 5 minuten wandelen van het treinstation Kyoto. Very nice hostel, at Kyoto station which is convenient for bus, subway and trains to all temples and places of interest! Hostel is very clean, showers and toilets included. Would definitely recommend to stay here!

城崎温泉 HOSTEL Waraku heeft een terras, en ligt in Kinosaki in de regio Hyogo, op 2,4 km van Kinumaki Shrine en 3,9 km van Seto Shrine. Heerlijk matras (25 cm) wat op de bodem ligt. Heel vriendelijk personeel/eigenaren. Locatie ligt op perfecte afstand van de Onsen en het station. Mogelijkheid om in de gemeenschappelijke keuken koffie te drinken en te ontbijten. Je kunt er zelfs koken wanneer je dat wilt. Ontbijt kun je prima kopen bij een supermarkt op 100 meter afstand. Prima WiFi en Airco. De barrel Sauna hebben we niet geprobeerd. We kregen voor elke dag een gratis kaartje per persoon voor de Onsen dus we hadden wel genoeg gebadderd. De prijs van dit hostel (zou zo een hotel kunnen zijn) is vergeleken met andere accommodaties uitstekend.

Charlie's Bed is gelegen in Wakayama, op 2 minuten lopen van Takanoji Temple, en biedt conciërgediensten, rookvrije kamers, een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een terras. The place was very clean and had all the amenities as listed. Mari(at the front desk) is very sweet and helping. There is a supermarket across the street.

The host goes above and beyond, offering services like luggage storage and even forwarding forgotten glasses. The guest house is a perfect blend of price, cleanliness and comfort. With more than enough amenities, it's just a short stroll to the lively Dotonbori street.

Hostel Caranashi is goed gelegen in de wijk Uehommachi, Tennoji, Zuidelijk Osaka in Osaka, en bevindt zich op 8 minuten lopen van The Osaka Korean Church in Japan, 1,3 km van Osaka Seiwa Church en 15... So far the best hostel I stayed in so far. The interior design is amazing and they have like an array of comfy sofas, a kitchen, fridge with beers (not free) and the rooms are spacious and instead of cramming as many beds as possible they keep it spacious. Very nice host, almost every possible amenity I could think of available and great location, with a park across the street if you like a calm morning breakfast in nature. Just a few stops removed from Namba and subway is a 5 min walk. Again, so far the best hostel I stayed in and would definitely recommend it.

Guesthouse Izame Ann ligt in Nagaoka, op 15 km van kasteel van Hikone, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een bar. Our stay at this cozy and immaculate accommodation was truly exceptional. The place is well-equipped and remarkably quiet, making it perfect for families traveling with children. The host warmly welcomed us and went above and beyond by preparing both breakfast and dinner, which were absolutely delicious. What I appreciated most was the common area, which provided a wonderful space for our family to gather and connect. The host was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, ensuring that we had everything we needed. This has been one of my favorite BnBs in Japan during my 10 years of travel experience. Our family had an excellent time, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay.

KINOSAKI KNOT is gelegen in Toyooka, op 2,5 km van Kinumaki Shrine, en biedt kamers met airconditioning en een gedeelde lounge. De accommodatie lag in het centrum, maar in de rust. Dichtbij alles, maar niet in drukte.

Ichi The Hostel is gelegen in Minamicho, op 48 km van station Tokushima, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Het is een gezellige plek om te chillen. De Bar naast het Hostel is superleuk.
