John and Mari are amazing hosts, they offered me a free ride on the way back from temple 36 (i was walking on the pilgrimage), they speak English well which is a big plus for foreigners in Japan, they also use whatsapp and one can contact them anytime, the facilities are clean and new, there is a ferry one can take nearby to continue on the pilgrimage, they even offer some free snacks for the guests. They have available bikes for free if one wants to get to the nearest supermarket/convinience store, even so they still offered to take me there by car. Super great and organised people.

Quiet, nice area, beautiful layout of kitchen, dining and lounge areas, great for connecting with other ohenros, so well-outfitted, nice rooms, bath, attractive, well-organized and comfortable, near major supermarket.

Situated in Nada and with Kamikawaguchi Harbor Whale Park reachable within 2.5 km, Ohana features free bikes, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a garden. it was a lovely stay. The room is spacious and the whole place is beautiful. Miho went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable in my stay. breakfast and dinner were homemade and delicious. I recommend to everyone who wants to experience the Japanese life in a quiet part of the country.

Located within 36 km of Daizen-ji Temple and 36 km of Nishihama Park, 鏡水旅館/kyousuiryokan provides rooms in Kochi. I like that is was kind of japanese style, it doesn't look like an hotel, it's look like a house so is warmer environment. Also, they give me discount coupons for eating that cover my food expenses during the 3 days I was there

It’s conveniently located in Kochi, easily walkable from the train station. Check in was smooth and my private room was comfortable. I used the laundry machines, very easy. I needed a haircut and the ground floor of the building shares space with a salon so an additional bonus for me.
