I was really impressed by it. It was very spacious and with a touch of luxury in my opinion. Potable water and tea available anytime. Many tables to eat, work and 3 macs to use. Showers were really nice, they came with a shelf and a small bin above so you don’t lose small objects, and also a hanger for the towel. (Just the things that I asked another hostel to add because I almost lost my ring). Spacious, the products to shower were nice. The hair dryer bathrooms had chairs (oh la la). The bedroom had free spacious lockers, enough for my big backpack (big sized urban one). The bed was super comfy!! The day before I was at another hostel they had very uncomfortable beds, so much that I woke up without being able to move because of a back-pain (I have back-pain issues but they were under control). The stairs to get to my bed had a handle to help you climb and it came really handy as I always fear of falling.

CAFETEL 京都三条 for Ladiesは京都市東山区に位置する女性専用の宿泊施設で、サムライ剣舞から徒歩4分です。近くには複数の観光スポットがあり、京都国際マンガミュージアムまで約1.2km、平安神宮まで約1.3kmです。ホステルは清水寺から1.8kmです。 お部屋は女性専用で、バスルーム（無料バスアメニティ付）は共用です。 先斗町通りまで徒歩わずか4分です。CAFETEL 京都三条... The amenities were excellent, especially the bathrooms, which were clean, spacious, and stocked with hair curlers, straighteners, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The individual stalls were also spacious and comfortable. The room itself was comfortable and clean, and the location was within walking distance of a number of attractions and restaurants. We had a great time here, and we highly recommend it!

A 5-minute walk from Higashiyama Subway Station, Guest House Ga-Jyun features free Wi-Fi at the entire property. The wooden terrace has chairs overlooking the garden. We are small house with 5 rooms. Very friendly and polite staff. Excellent breakfast especially for a small hostel (I guess it was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had). Comfortable mattress. Also everything was quite clean. The atmosphere of a Japanese home. Good location.

Only a minute’s walk from Kyoto Art Museum, Guest House Kobako offers private Japanese-style rooms. It features free WiFi, a free-use kitchen and a washing machine. I was looking for an accommodation near Miyako Messe, as I had an event to attend — and thankfully I found Guesthouse Kobako. It's not only close to Miyako Messe, but also to a bus stop (both the convention center and the bus stop are just around 5–6 minutes away on foot). Its vicinity is rather quiet, as it's tucked away in an alley. The room that I booked was spacious, quiet, peaceful, and cozy; it also had a nice view overlooking a traditional house and garden next door. It was a lot larger than I expected, considering that accommodation in Japan (especially for solo travelers) tends to be pretty small, so it was really worth my money. The guesthouse is also pretty generous with its amenities for guests; moisturizer, toner, makeup remover were available for guests to use, and there were even bags with shampoo and body wash in case guests wanted to try bathing at a nearby public bath. Also, the owner is really friendly and sweet. The cafe (also named Kobako) next to the guesthouse serves pretty good coffee, too; the barista was also very friendly. I'd love to stay here again the next time I'm in Kyoto!

Owner was very helpful and enthusiastic, always making sure that we were comfortable... even with things like issues with the washing machine, he was very attentive and helped until the very end.. bus stops very close to the accomodation so most of the sites were very easy to visit, some being walking distance like kinkakuji, imperial palace, and nijou castle.. definitely would recommend and return again.

Very cool environment, clean spaces, comfortable room and bed - where I had the best nigh sleeps of the trip so far - and very nice staff. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in Kyoto.

Yumikiro Castle Ruinsから11kmのかや山の家は与謝野にある宿泊施設で、庭、無料専用駐車場、共用ラウンジ、テラスを提供しています。このホステルは無料WiFiを提供しており、Chionji Templeまで約14km、Tango Kokubunji Ruinsまで約15kmです。アレルギー対策済み宿泊施設で、Itanami Plate Row... We loved the location. It's in a beautiful valley of the Kyoto prefecture. Far away from hectic city. The perfect place to reflect and do some daytrips (by car). Make sure to taste the chef's menu (reservation required).

SHIN kyoto offers accommodation with a rooftop terrace, just a 3-minute walk from JR Tanbaguchi Station. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Nijo Castle is 2.1 km away. Located close to public transport, and close to Kyoto station (2 stops away). The bed was super comfy, the amenities were super clean and modern, there’s a full sized kitchen if you want to cook, and a shared space with a projector screen and a cute rooftop. Shin (the owner/manager) goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable. His English is great and gave me tips on cafes and restaurants in Kyoto as well as how to navigate around Kyoto (it was my first time there so very helpful).
