Furthermore, the two cats around the hostel are just so wonderful it makes the experience even better.

Amazing spot for anyone looking have a surfing experience in Japan. Rooms are clean. Bikes and surfboards are great quality. But most importantly, Sok and Emi are awesome hosts.

Tudzura ligger i Kumamoto, 2,3 km från Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei, och har en bar, rökfria rum samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. I liked everything about this place. The facilities are beautiful, the room is a little small but comfortable and clean. The location is in a quieter part of town, so you need to walk 15-20 minutes to get into the busier/nightlife area but that was fine with me. Above all else, the hosts were really spectacular. Anna and Jun were so nice and fun to talk to, they really treat you like family. Both speak excellent English and Jun speaks Mandarin as well. They gave a bunch of recommendations for the area when I was asking about restaurants/bars/sightseeing. And wow they're both very hard workers. Jun is the owner so he's not always at Tudzura, but sometimes away doing more managerial things, I assume. When I was there, Anna was running the show, checking people in and out and cleaning all the rooms. She's a very impressive and intelligent young lady, and Tudzura is lucky to have her! I'm back home in LA now but I already miss them, and would definitely stay here again when I'm back in Kumamoto just to catch up with these friends :)

Shioya Hostel ligger i Akune, 24 km från Sendai-kō, och erbjuder boende med gratis cyklar, gratis privat parkering och en gemensam lounge. Very clean, stylish hostel with large rooms that are thoughtfully put together. Hosts were helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area. We were bike touring and they had a large indoor area where we could safely store our bikes overnight. Restaurants within walking distance. Thank you for having us!

Taketa Ekimae Hostel cue ligger i Taketa och har en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en bar. Beautiful place! Super friendly people! Great food and delicious plume sake 👌🏻

Yufuin Country Road Youth Hostel har ett perfekt läge i området Yufuin Onsen i Yufu, 49 km från Showa Denko Dome Oita, 2 km från Kinrinko-sjön och 27 km från Beppu station. En sann pärla, familjedrivet och personligt, ett riktigt vandrarhem. Vid utcheckning får man en personlig sång av värdparet. Rekommenderar att välja rum i japansk stil, och få sova på futonmadrasser. Magisk utsikt ner över staden nattetid. Den hemlagade frukosten var väldigt mysig. Frukost men ej middag kan göras köttfri. Coolast är de varma källorna som fyller källarvåningen. Bada så mycket som du har möjlighet till. Köpte med den speciella Country Road-handduken som minne.

I really liked the couple that run the place. They keep it so clean and the community room is very user-friendly. It was comfortable as a solo female traveler. It’s a great location, easy to walk to the airport, grocery store, and restaurants. I would definitely stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Guesthouse Matsuo A at the end of my long bicycle trip from Tokyo – very welcoming atmosphere, perfect location, and an incredibly supportive and interesting host. Highly recommended!
