Tudzura ligger i Kumamoto, 2,3 km från Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei, och har en bar, rökfria rum samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Tudzura Hotel is such a hidden gem. Not flashy, but super charming, dreamy, and incredibly clean. The staff are amazing — warm, welcoming, and you can really feel their sincerity. I loved the sake welcome drink and tasting, such a thoughtful touch. The only downside is that it’s an old building, so the walls are thin. I was woken up at 12am and 2am by showers and laughter — I guess not everyone has the same sense of quiet hours (is there really that much going on after 8pm? in the area? Maybe I’m outdated 😂). Still, I truly love the vibe and the people here. I’d definitely stay again — just hoping fellow guests keep it a little quieter next time.

The building has been beautifully maintained and furnished. Attention has been given to all the details. It's a quiet location, no traffic noise, with refreshing ocean air. The cafe is lovely, and right next door. You have privacy, because there's no staff in the hostel itself. You can get to the konbini with a 15min walk. The owners are very friendly and kind.

Very clean, stylish hostel with large rooms that are thoughtfully put together. Hosts were helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area. We were bike touring and they had a large indoor area where we could safely store our bikes overnight. Restaurants within walking distance. Thank you for having us!

Taketa Ekimae Hostel cue ligger i Taketa och har en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en bar. this was an unexpected favorite part of our trip! we wished we would have stayed for more than one night! extremely kind and thoughtful staff in a charming little mountain town. loved the welcome drink and a fantastic breakfast in the morning.

Yufuin Country Road Youth Hostel har ett perfekt läge i området Yufuin Onsen i Yufu, 49 km från Showa Denko Dome Oita, 2 km från Kinrinko-sjön och 27 km från Beppu station. En sann pärla, familjedrivet och personligt, ett riktigt vandrarhem. Vid utcheckning får man en personlig sång av värdparet. Rekommenderar att välja rum i japansk stil, och få sova på futonmadrasser. Magisk utsikt ner över staden nattetid. Den hemlagade frukosten var väldigt mysig. Frukost men ej middag kan göras köttfri. Coolast är de varma källorna som fyller källarvåningen. Bada så mycket som du har möjlighet till. Köpte med den speciella Country Road-handduken som minne.

I really liked the couple that run the place. They keep it so clean and the community room is very user-friendly. It was comfortable as a solo female traveler. It’s a great location, easy to walk to the airport, grocery store, and restaurants. I would definitely stay again.
