He collects you from Kawaguchiko Station and brings you to the hostel otherwise it is a 30min walk. Unfortunately we didn't get to see Mt Fuji when we were here but had a lovely stay. It is very peaceful here. The facilities are great. The host has a great attention to detail. The shared showers were lovely. We stayed on the traditional futons which was a great experience.

Situated in Fuji, 41 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Kinoya Hostel features accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Staff was very kind and helpful. We arrived late and he prepared the bath for us. We didn't need to go to Ryokan to enjoy a Japanese inn and onsen. The place was clean and beautiful Japanese style house with tatami. The hostel was right next to the train station, that is a huge bonus for us when we overslept and almost kissed the train. We definitely will come again in the future.

Set in Fujiyoshida, within 2 km of Fuji-Q Highland and 5.6 km of Lake Kawaguchi, Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA offers accommodation with a terrace and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The hostess was a very nice Japanese lady with excellent English. She even offered us free breakfast, which she made herself and was delicious. The rooms were in Japanese style, with probably one of the most comfy beds we ever slept in. The super clean toilet and bathroom were shared, but since there are only a few rooms, it was no issue for us. The internet speed was excellent.

Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel is situated in Fujiyoshida, within 7.8 km of Lake Kawaguchi and 25 km of Mount Fuji. The 1-star hostel has air-conditioned rooms with a shared bathroom and free WiFi. We loved our stay at Fujiyoshida Hotel. The owner was very sweet and kind, she welcomed us with a warm smile, and kindly let us park the car at the car park. The traditional Japanese room was very clean and lovely, and the place was quiet. The room had a view of the majestic Fuji-san, which allowed us to quickly know whether it was visible or covered before leaving the hotel. We simply loved the experience, I highly recommend it!

Located in Fujiyoshida, within 2.4 km of Fuji-Q Highland and 6.7 km of Lake Kawaguchi, Hostel 1889 provides accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private... best place ever - the most gorgeous view! wasted money on the mt fuji panorama rail. the view from the roof of the hostel was so much better! less than 1km from the best bakery (kimuraya) and rooms were very clean and comfy. great facilities could not recommend more
