Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. The dormitory is cosy and clean. I was surprised by the quality of the duvet, it's super comfortable. The restaurant has an amazing menu and everything was perfect. The staffs are very friendly. And a special thank you to Masako! Thank you Kagelow, I'll come back again :)

Staff are exceptional, the cafe attached is delicious and the rooms are just perfect. Could not recommend more.

Machiko was very kind and helpful for us. We're going back from Mt.Fuji and overdue for check-in, but anyway, we found the best solution and got the cozy and clean room for rest and recovery.

This place has something magical. The owner is well-prepared, hospitable, and provides everything you might need. Everything is clean and authentic, making you feel like you’ve stepped into a Japanese story. My room also had a view of Mt. Fuji and was located near the Chureito Pagoda. I was able to wake up early and take a 23-minute walk to watch the sunrise.
