Set in Fujikawaguchiko, less than 1 km from Lake Kawaguchi, HOSTEL MICHIKUSA-YA offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The owner is lovely and offered to pick us up and drop us off to the station which made us feel at ease with our luggage! He had great recommendations to help us make the most of our time in Kawaguchiko. The room was amazing and so comfortable. It was breathtaking waking up to the view of Mt. Fuji from our room.

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Wonderful stay and kind staff 🤍🤍 I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared. But what truly made my experience special was the kindness of the staff, especially Minori, who was very helpful even after my stay. She kindly sent me my forgotten item from Japan with great care and attention. I really appreciate their professionalism and warm hospitality. I would be happy to stay here again when I visit Japan next time.

Situated in Fujikawaguchiko, 八-Hachi- Accommodation has free bikes, garden, shared lounge, and free WiFi throughout the property. The staff are friendly and have nice English skill, give me a lot of travel advice. We can borrow the bike for free from the hotel, that is nice and convinience.

Situated in Fuji, 41 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Kinoya Hostel features accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Staff was very kind and helpful. We arrived late and he prepared the bath for us. We didn't need to go to Ryokan to enjoy a Japanese inn and onsen. The place was clean and beautiful Japanese style house with tatami. The hostel was right next to the train station, that is a huge bonus for us when we overslept and almost kissed the train. We definitely will come again in the future.

Located in Fujikawaguchiko, 1.7 km from Fuji-Q Highland, Fuji Guest House Ao provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking and a terrace. Convenient location, really great for first time solo travelers. The next time i visit Fujikawaguchiko i’ll be sure to stay there again. 10/10

Set in Fujiyoshida, within 2 km of Fuji-Q Highland and 5.6 km of Lake Kawaguchi, Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA offers accommodation with a terrace and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The host is really nice and helpful, fluent in English. There are bus schedules and other tourist information available at the reception. The appliances also have usage instruction stickers in English. The surroundings are, of course, beautiful. With nearby bus and train stations, great starting point for exploring the area and Mt. Fuji itself. The Fujiyoshida Fire Festival is also worth checking out. Breakfast was also delicious. I would come back.

Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel is situated in Fujiyoshida, within 7.8 km of Lake Kawaguchi and 25 km of Mount Fuji. The 1-star hostel has air-conditioned rooms with a shared bathroom and free WiFi. Great view, can see mt fuji right in the room. Host is really nice Japanese woman. Her english is good for communication, and really kind to us. Japanese style room is also really cool.

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. The beds were super comfy! They had a game room basement with a nintendo 64. It was very clean and nicely furnished. It looked like a great place to meet new people although I was so tired I went straight to sleep that day.

Views of Mt Fuji were simply great. Spent 3 days here and she looked more beautiful every day as the weather got colder. The property is well managed with super friendly staff. The kitchen is very clean, large and accommodate several people preparing food at the same time. The mix dorm beds were sturdy and no creaking noises. Curtains provide privacy.
