Take, the owner of the hostel, is a very welcoming, friendly nice guy. He apparently runs the hostel all by himself with help from friends sometimes. He lives there as well. The hostel is well maintained, very clean and spacious. There are two mixed dormitories downstairs, two single beds and two three-bed rooms upstairs. Two toilets and a shower downstairs, and one toilet and shower upstairs. The place feels very homely. I met quite a few other solo travellers that night during my stay and we all had a lovely chat. It was a great atmosphere. Take even goes out of his way to recommend me dinner options and next day itinerary recommendations. Guy has a drawn map for evening and morning food options, as well as biking and walking route for sightseeing. For the nearby onsen, take prepares a shower kit for guests to bring for use over there. Honestly I felt well taken care of, in a safe and comfortable location. The living room and kitchen is free to use for guests. Matsumoto felt like a safe town too and everywhere was easily accessible on foot or on bike. It is a hostel I will visit again for sure.

Very well presented property with fully equipped kitchen (and best supermarket we found in Japan just down the road, a rare opportunity to stock up on fresh fruit and veg). Plenty of space and balcony for sitting outside. Options for tatami mat or western beds. Easy for transport just opposite the station, but also easy walk to the wooden bridge.

Nastanitev Starfall Lodge se nahaja v mestu Hakuba, 9 km od znamenitosti smučarsko območje Tsugaike Kogen in 44 km od znamenitosti postaja Nagano, ter nudi brezplačen WiFi. The people were extremely accommodating, flexible and lovely. They make the place feel like home.

First time skiing in Hakuba, first time in Japan ... I chose 'Bohemians' simply because of the good reviews – I had no idea where it was or how convenient it would be for our stay. I was travelling with the family and had so many questions, but Gas answered them all very patiently. He runs an amazing hostel/guest house and went out of his way to accommodate us. I loved the diverse mix of people who were there at the same time as us – breakfast and dinner times were in particular really social and there was a lovely communal vibe.

Great hosts, delicious veg and non veg food and a charming clean property on top of it. Highly recommended and one of our favorite accommodations during our month long trip to japan.

Nastanitev 1166 Backpackers se nahaja v mestu Nagano, manj kot 1 km od znamenitosti tempelj Zenkoji in 2,5 km od znamenitosti postaja Nagano. The staff (and other guests) were wonderful and extremely helpful! Had a great time learning a bit more Japanese, visiting spots around Nagano and chilling together in the evenings. A big thank you to Orie, Etsuko, Mio and Sakura for making my stay so enjoyable!

Located just a 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort’s gondola, Morino Lodge offers cosy accommodation with spacious guestrooms and a modern lounge. Definitely must go for the pizza!!

Nastanitev Guest House Kura je v mestu Suzaka, 1,9 km od znamenitosti Živalski vrt Suzaka Zoo in 14 km od znamenitosti tempelj Zenkoji, ter nudi skupni prostor za druženje in brezplačno zasebno... One of the best places where i stayed during my Japan trip. Host Marina and the team are the vibe! Highly recommend. Feeling of warmth and coziness guaranteed.

Nastanitev K's House Hakuba Alps - Travelers Hostel je v mestu Hakuba, 13 km od znamenitosti smučarsko območje Tsugaike Kogen in 39 km od znamenitosti postaja Nagano, ter ponuja sobe. Host and staff were very welcoming, the accomodation was very good too !
