Although the property is so conveniently close to the train station, my friend and I still managed to almost miss our train to Sapporo… Ryo saved the day and drove us to the train station, carried both of our massive luggage bags up to the ticket booth, and helped us buy tickets just in time!

Located a 10-minute bus ride from JR Kutchan Railway Station, My Ecolodge offers simple yet cosy rooms with free WiFi. Great hostel with transport services/shuttles too and from grand harifu and it's close to the free shuttles. The japanese breakfast every morning was great (similar things everyday but it didn't bother me). The rooms feel a little small but there are quite a few storage options and the bunks were super comfortable and it was clean! The best part of all is the 7 eleven across the road!

Niseko Hirafu Tsukushi is situated in Kutchan, within 5.6 km of Hirafu Station and 1.1 km of Lerch Memorial Park. Staff (Kana-san and Suke-san) were amazing. Clean and comfortable, could be some noise due to the nature of the dorm room. Shuttle bus pick up (8 and 9am) was great. Convenient buses to supermarket or into town. Well stocked kitchen if you intend on cooking.

Absolutely wonderful hosts, extremely welcoming and friendly! We had a problem with our car battery and Anan helped us jump-start the car at 6:30 AM. Can't recommend this place enough, lovely people!! Will definitely come back here when I visit again.

Tho this is far from the popular ski resorts.
