Attractively set in the Konpira Onsen district of Kotohira, Kotori Coworking & Hostel Kotohira is situated 32 km from Kitahamaebisu Shrine, 40 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu and 40 km from Sunport... Staff and other guests were incredibly kind and talkative, seemed like they had known each other for quite a while and still willing to converse with me.

Set in Tosa and within 22 km of Daizen-ji Temple, Hostel John Mang ゲストハウス ジョン has free bikes, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. The most welcoming hosts! They thought of everything ☺️ even supplying midnight snacks! Everything you could need in the kitchen, laundry, and super comfortable and clean rooms. We also got the unexpected sendoff of a lifetime with music, flags, and a beautiful packed lunch! The most supportive place you can imagine for pilgrims!

Located in Sukumo, ゲストハウス アルベルゲ Guesthouse ALBERGUE SAKURA features free bikes, garden, shared lounge, and free WiFi throughout the property. Ryoko-san is not only a wonderful person and a great host: she is also a wonderful teacher of Japanese!

Boasting a terrace, Kotori Coworking & Hostel Takamatsu is situated in Takamatsu in the Kagawa region, 1.9 km from Kitahamaebisu Shrine and 2.4 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu. Awesome place. I went in February which seemed to be the off season. There weren’t many people staying here. But Takamatsu seemed to be a little bit off the beaten path for the typical foreign travel route. This city has so much potential and I hope to see more people come here and stay at this hostel in the future! This hostel company has a few different hostels in the more popular parts of Japan, so perhaps they see the potential of this area as well. There was tons of great things to do around, I ended up island hopping and found so many cool things! This property was great and i really recommend it.

Located in Uinouchi, Next Chapter - Guesthouse - Kito features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi. This place is incredible! Our favourite accommodation in two weeks of travel. Beautiful design, super comfortable beds, lovely staff, fantastic facilities. The town is super cute - we lived getting deep into the mountains and valleys of Shikoku. Highly recommend adding this destination to your trip!

Set in Mitoyo, 43 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu, BED N CHILL Shippoya 七宝屋 offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Despite being 6 years old, the property seems like it’s just opened! The dormitory still smells of wood. Everything is immaculate. The bathroom is very pleasant and modern, right next to the sleeping areas. There is a fun bar and communal area to hang out. There are only 6 beds in the dormitory. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The garden is lovely. The surrounding area is beautiful. Overall one of the best hostels I stayed in Japan.

Situated in Nada and with Kamikawaguchi Harbor Whale Park reachable within 2.5 km, Ohana features free bikes, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a garden. We absolutely LOVED everything about our stay at Miho's house. We regret not staying longer...... but I'm sure her house would be booked out! We were made to feel at home, everything was perfect, we were comfortable + it truly felt like a home away from home staying with family. We would love to visit again! Do yourself a favour + include the dinner + breakfast - Miho's freshly prepared food is nutritious + tasty. I actually cannot speak high enough of our experience here. We will miss Miho + her daughter Hanna! My boys + husband loved their stay too. So much fun. Miho also gave wonderdul recommendations for restaurants + local gems we would never have known about.
