Situated within 36 km of Daizen-ji Temple and 36 km of Nishihama Park, Guest House BONITO features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Kochi. 1) cozy, warm, the capsule bed is very thoughtful with lamp, socket, clothes hanger, locker, baggage rack, and even bed heater. 2) shower was amazing and towel provided 3) location right in the center, ACE supermarket 7mins walk away. And Lawson just 1 min walk. 4) nice staff helped me make henro reservations.

Attractively set in the Konpira Onsen district of Kotohira, Kotori Coworking & Hostel Kotohira is situated 32 km from Kitahamaebisu Shrine, 40 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu and 40 km from Sunport... The staff was very helpful and nice. We had a good time. The room are basic but you have all you need. The plywood style is very trendy. The hostel have everything you need downstairs and it’s very clean.

Set in Tosa and within 22 km of Daizen-ji Temple, Hostel John Mang ゲストハウス ジョン has free bikes, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Great location to take the ferry. The hostess Mari was so welcoming and gave a comprehensive and clear explanation/tour in English and she gave off great energy.

Located in Sukumo, ゲストハウス アルベルゲ Guesthouse ALBERGUE SAKURA features free bikes, garden, shared lounge, and free WiFi throughout the property. The wonderful staff of this guesthouse made my stay an absolutely great one! All was great, thank you once more.

Boasting a terrace, Kotori Coworking & Hostel Takamatsu is situated in Takamatsu in the Kagawa region, 1.9 km from Kitahamaebisu Shrine and 2.4 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu. This is the nicest hostel I've ever stayed at, and it's not even close. I also stayed at some great hotels during my stay in Japan, but Kotori still stands out as my favourite. I had a private room, and it was so worth it. The first thing I noticed was how clean everything was - the room smelled amazing, the mattress looked brand new, and the bed linens were crisp and white. The dining area upstairs and bathroom/ laundry areas on the main floor were similarly spotless. I usually carry flip flops to use in communal showers, but there was no need in this case - the showers always looked scrubbed clean. Every part of the hostel is well decorated and looks modern and cool. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the check-in/ check-out process was quick and easy. I really hope I get the chance to visit again!

Located in Uinouchi, Next Chapter - Guesthouse - Kito features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi. This place is incredible! Our favourite accommodation in two weeks of travel. Beautiful design, super comfortable beds, lovely staff, fantastic facilities. The town is super cute - we lived getting deep into the mountains and valleys of Shikoku. Highly recommend adding this destination to your trip!

Set in Minamicho, 48 km from Tokushima Station, Ichi The Hostel offers accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. One of my favorite stays on the Henro. Veggie friendly for meals, card friendly, English is spoken. We booked a private room and it was just beautiful. Down to the smallest detail, everything was so well thought of. Would love to stay again.

Featuring a garden, shared lounge, bar and free WiFi, Hostel & Tatami Bar Uchikobare -内子晴れ- is set in Uchiko, a few steps from Machiya Resource Center and 200 metres from Omura Residence. This dorm has a very nice cafe downstairs and its location is great. The hosts were very friendly and the facilities are good. Also very practical that it can be booked online.
