Guesthouse Iwase is set in Toyama, 2.2 km from Toyama-kō and 14 km from Toyama Family Park. It’s not too far from Toyama station, the host gave me two complimentary tickets for the tram, he was so kind and helpful, his service was outstanding, I highly recommend this property as it looks really Japanese style for a small price.

The house facilities, the staff, the surrounding, the view, I love it all. I love how they keep taking care of the house even though it's already few hundred years. We even play the snow surrounding the house and it's fun!..will go to here again in the future!

Travelers' house ROOTs is located in Takaoka, 47 km from Kanazawa Castle and 47 km from Kenrokuen Garden. It is very close to station, about 7min walk. The beds were were very comfy and staff spoke both Enlgish and Japanese. There is also free coffee and tea in the morning with a V60 at service.
