The owner is extremely kind, warm and helpful. He picked us up from the train station. He also advised us in what to do near by and reserved for us in a place to dinner. Had an amazing time with an amazing view

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Kagelow is one of the most stunning hostels I have stayed at. It is immaculately clean and the facilities are lush! There is an onsite restaurant and bar and the hostels outfit is beautiful. I stayed in both the hostel dorm rooms and also the private hostel rooms, both were exceptional! Highly recommend for solo and group travellers if you are looking for a more relaxed atmosphere!

Located a 5-minute stroll from Shimoyoshida Station, Hostel & Salon Saruya offers a renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation with free WiFi. It was a great choice because location's convenient, the everything was clean, bedroom was comfortable and staff was really accommodating and helpful (I left a valuable item and they shipped it to my next location). I also like the common areas especially the work spaces.

Situated in Fujikawaguchiko, 八-Hachi- Accommodation has free bikes, garden, shared lounge, and free WiFi throughout the property. Large comfy bed with personal privacy in small dorm of only four people. Wonderful showers and inexpensive doing laundry access. Nice common area for hanging out and meeting people. Free bike use to ride around the lake. Within walking distance of the lake. Lovely Staff.

Located in Fujikawaguchiko, 1.7 km from Fuji-Q Highland, Fuji Guest House Ao provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking and a terrace. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hostel was squeaky clean. The bathrooms are either new or were remodeled recently and are in pristine condition. The bed in the dorm was very comfortable and cozy. They offer free bicycles, tea/coffee, and Japanese snacks. There's a lovely rooftop with lounge chairs and a view of Mount Fuji. Not a party place. Definitely, one of the nicest hostels I've stayed at. Highly recommend.

Set in Fujiyoshida, within 2 km of Fuji-Q Highland and 5.6 km of Lake Kawaguchi, Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA offers accommodation with a terrace and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The host is really nice and helpful, fluent in English. There are bus schedules and other tourist information available at the reception. The appliances also have usage instruction stickers in English. The surroundings are, of course, beautiful. With nearby bus and train stations, great starting point for exploring the area and Mt. Fuji itself. The Fujiyoshida Fire Festival is also worth checking out. Breakfast was also delicious. I would come back.

Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel is situated in Fujiyoshida, within 7.8 km of Lake Kawaguchi and 25 km of Mount Fuji. The 1-star hostel has air-conditioned rooms with a shared bathroom and free WiFi. Excellent, it was a wonderful experience to stay there, we like the Japanese style room with tatami room, and have a sight of mount fuji from our window view. And the location is near by Shimoyoshida Street just 3min walk with not crowded and have a clearly mount fuji view in the early morning. Kindly and polite host to guide us. We are not regret to stay here.
