Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Everything! The staff were very helpful and nice, loved the atmosphere and waking up to the mt Fuji was the best part!

So cozy and peaceful. It felt like I was back in my grandparents' room, only it's in Japan. It sucks that you have to share the building with other people and use the same facilities, but if you're staying for 1-2 nights, you will not regret your stay!

She even provided me with a raincoat when she saw me taking one of the umbrellas since u was riding a bicycle, and it was not safe holding an umbrella while riding the bicycle. The bed was comfortable, and the top floor had a good view of mt fuji. There were free bicycles, umbrellas, ear plugs, snacks, coffee, and candies. The staff will also help you with getting your luggage downstairs.

The hostess was a very nice Japanese lady with excellent English. She even offered us free breakfast, which she made herself and was delicious. The rooms were in Japanese style, with probably one of the most comfy beds we ever slept in. The super clean toilet and bathroom were shared, but since there are only a few rooms, it was no issue for us. The internet speed was excellent.

We loved our stay at Fujiyoshida Hotel. The owner was very sweet and kind, she welcomed us with a warm smile, and kindly let us park the car at the car park. The traditional Japanese room was very clean and lovely, and the place was quiet. The room had a view of the majestic Fuji-san, which allowed us to quickly know whether it was visible or covered before leaving the hotel. We simply loved the experience, I highly recommend it!

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. The common area was very nice and inviting. Our room was big and spacious. The location is good too. Will definitely recommend this to friends!!!
