Just right by the ocean with a beautiful balcony to sit and read a book, have some good food, or just have a conversation with other cool travelers from all over the world staying at the hostel. Staying in Old Town allowed me to walk around and explore different places including Fort Jesus. There is even a little butterfly house next to the fort and I was happy to randomly stop by on one of my evening walks. I felt like I was surrounded by culture and beauty and couldn't have enough of that. Jackie at the reception was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She helped me book and pay for my train ticket to Nairobi since I didn't have MPesa, went with me to look for my bolt driver who had parked a block from the property, and was there to answer any questions I had. Highly recommend!
