Perfect place for a quiet retreat. Really friendly staff and owners, great food, plenty of opportunities to do things around the island (walk, cooking class, boat trip) or just relax, read, and unwind in a hammock. If you are looking for a place to relax during your travels, this is the perfect place to stay for at least several days if not a week or more. The sunrises are absolutely beautiful. Tanoi and Sander were wonderful hosts and always available if you needed anything. They also checked in to see how I was doing throughout the day, and we had good conversations about Laos history and other topics. The first night I was there was Tanoi's birthday, and all guests were invited to the dinner celebration. Room and bed were comfy. There was hot water in one of the shared bathrooms if needed.

Situated in Pakse and within 300 metres of Wat Luang, Sanga Rooftop Hostel has a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. The owner is extremely friendly and kind and help the guests with everything. The hostel is really clean and the beds are the most comfortable I have already had in a hostel. Everything is new and in a perfect condition. There are also free bananas and ice cream ☺️ The location is perfect, in the center of Pakse and perfect to begin the Pakse loop. I love this place!

Set in Pakse, 500 metres from Wat Phabat, ANOU HOSTEL offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. I stayed two nights, very comfortable beds with curtain, clean bathrooms and rooms. Nice breakfast and good service. They organised the scooter rental and the transfer to Don Det for me. They also have a little café there with great coffee. What I appreciated the most was the nice common area, where you could chill away from the streets and read a book or just relax. I would definitely stay there again.

Boasting a garden and a bar, Pakse Backpacker Hostel2023 is situated in Pakse, 400 metres from Wat Luang and 600 metres from Pakse Bus station. The staff are very friendly. The room is clean. We can rent a motorbike here as well. The breakfast is so damn good. Overall, highly recommended.

Close to everything but still private. Laundry and bike rentals right there. Go eat at tevendang restaurant. On other side on the way to the bridge. Her food and kindness are amazing.
