It is new this December, and the owners have put so much effort into making it an enjoyable place and that is conducive to a peaceful stay and a community atmosphere. The facilities are clean and comfortable, and the location is right next to a lovely beach (great place to be for sunset). The breakfast is fantastic, and there are plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to spend time, do work, or talk to other people in the hostel. Arjuna the owner is very friendly and helpful, and goes above and beyond to make sure visitors are happy and comfortable. I would enthusiastically recommend Colombo Mount Hostel for anyone looking for a peaceful and fun stay in the Colombo area.

Everything about this place was amazing. The staff were lovely, it’s clean, the WiFi is solid, and having food and coffee right at the hostel just makes life easier. First of all i want to thank David the receptionist, who took care of all our needs and was super friendly , Secondly we liked the room , the A.C was good, the bed was comfy and upstairs there is a terrace in which you can sit and enjoy the view .
