The facilities are clean and comfortable, and the location is right next to a lovely beach (great place to be for sunset). The breakfast is fantastic, and there are plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to spend time, do work, or talk to other people in the hostel. Arjuna the owner is very friendly and helpful, and goes above and beyond to make sure visitors are happy and comfortable. I would enthusiastically recommend Colombo Mount Hostel for anyone looking for a peaceful and fun stay in the Colombo area.

I am travelling alone. This place was super easy to find. Name is written in big blond letters. Receptionists were super helpful, Clear communication. Supermarket right opposite the stay. Easy to catch uber/taxi/tuktuk. It has a roof top restaurant where each and every staff was friendly, approachable and kind. Will definitely stay there.

The room is a good size, the bed is very comfortable, AC works great (and there's a powerful ceiling fan as well). The linens and towels are good quality, there is ample water pressure in the bathroom. All the facilities are extremely clean and well maintained. The rooftop terrace is a great place to relax in the evenings, and communal kitchen is nice. The staff is really friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Zero complaints about VIBE Hostels. Highly recommend it, and we would happily stay again.

What a lovely place!🥺 The staff is very kind and helpful, and the room is clean, safe, and spacious. The maintenance is superb—we loved the large lobby area. The hospitality is outstanding, and I truly appreciated it. They are equally kind to both locals and foreigners. The best part is that I had a chance to support their prevention programs, as they use the hostel’s profits to fund these initiatives. That means a lot to me. I encourage everyone to book a reservation at this hostel and help support these meaningful programs. Thank you. 🙏
