Wow what an amazing welcome in Sri Lanka. I flew in yesterday evening late at night and the manager came to pick me up from the airport (for free). The room is very good, with A/C, hot water, bottled drinking water. The hospitality of this place is unbelievable. I received a free SIM card (5GB), breakfast in the morning and one of the staff members took me to the bus to Kandy. Actually we needed to chase the bus and I managed to catch it. And so was able to leave a bag here and come to get it when I leave Sri Lanka. I’m a solo female traveller and I felt completely safe. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone .

I was in Colombo before and went to Negombo because its a nice place very near the airport. There were certain options to go to, curlys hostel was one of the cheapest in my case. I booked for 3 days and stayed at least 11 days because the room was perfect with a very comfortable bed (I was the only visitor for 8 days) and AC in a cozy house with everything I needed. Curly is a superb host, also the employeed house maker called aunty, the hostel got cleaned every day and the food was delicious. Drank also 'Old Arrack' from Rockland with ice there, can very recommend that spirit

Ceylon Glory Hostel está ubicado en Negombo, a 8 minutos a pie de Playa Negombo, y ofrece alojamiento con un jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis, salón compartido y una terraza. The hostel is well located, they organise beach volleyball or sea swimming, i even did a morning bicycle tour organised by them. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast and the cappuccino were delicious.

Flexi Lodge está ubicado en Negombo, a a pocos pasos de Playa Wellaweediya y a 2,6 km de Iglesia de San Antonio. I stayed in Flexi lodge only one night, sadly it was fully booked after, otherwise I would stay longer. It is a simple place at the beach, bed was clean and it had a mosquito net. Very good value for the money and kind hosts. Will return back one day! :)
