I Katunayaka, bare 11 kilometer fra St Anthony's Church og 33 kilometer fra R. Premadasa stadion ligger Shady transit hotel. Veldig rent og fint. Behagelige senger, stille område. Kasun var svært hyggelig og hjelpsom, vi fikk god veiledning fra ham. Kort vei til ok restaurant som serverte frokost.

I stayed for a one night layover between flights and was able to keep my luggage stored while I explored Colombo and take a shower before my flight (after checkout)! The bicycles for rent are awesome!

I Negombo, 4 minutters gange fra Poruthota-stranden, ligger Curly Hostel Negombo, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. I was in Colombo before and went to Negombo because its a nice place very near the airport. There were certain options to go to, curlys hostel was one of the cheapest in my case. I booked for 3 days and stayed at least 11 days because the room was perfect with a very comfortable bed (I was the only visitor for 8 days) and AC in a cozy house with everything I needed. Curly is a superb host, also the employeed house maker called aunty, the hostel got cleaned every day and the food was delicious. Drank also 'Old Arrack' from Rockland with ice there, can very recommend that spirit

Very welcoming and friendly hosts, great location near the airport, very comfortable rooms, and beautiful garden/shared common space with kitchen. I will definitely be back!

My room is right by the sea, and I can hear the waves every moment. The room is clean and tidy, and there’s a kitchen. Outside, there are shops nearby where you can buy food to cook in the kitchen, and bikes are available to ride for free. At the back, there’s a space where guests can hang out and relax. Most importantly, it’s very easy to meet new friends here. The host is very responsible and kind, and especially the host’s father—he helped me with kitchen tasks and even took photos for me! It’s truly a perfect place to relax.
