You can tell they really know what they’re doing. What I loved most was the friendly atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where backpackers and travelers actually talk to each other. The common area, the garden, and the eco-kitchen setup made it easy to relax and meet new people. The host was always available, helping with transport, local tips, and anything we needed. For the price, you get amazing value, great location, good facilities, and warm hospitality. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly, social, and comfortable base near Yala, Go Yala Hostel is the place. Highly recommend! 🐆🌿

We had an incredible stay at Kottamba Villa in Tangalle! From start to finish, our host Lushan went above and beyond to make our visit perfect. He cooked us delicious breakfasts and even prepared an amazing dinner that was ace!. The villa itself is spotless, with so much space to relax and unwind. If you’re off to Tangalle stay here

The hostel is located literally on the beach, and you can hear the waves from the room. There are many restaurants on the street in front of the hostel. Each bed had a mosquito net, which was much needed. There is a fan in every room. The bathroom was clean and nice. There were no lockers in the room, but the host was kind and gave us the room key since we were the only guests checking in that day, so it felt like a private room.

The host and location were fantastic, situated right by the entrance to Medaketiya Beach with safe swimming area and close to the stunning Mangrove Beach and national parks. The service was unexpectedly excellent, and the breakfast offered a variety of delicious options for the price. Best lassi in this area.

Beautiful people and animals. This place is wild and so peaceful. We obviously stayed longer than what we had planned. We just came to do the safari (which we didn't enjoy so much) but the Yala Yang Hostel is the reason why we stayed longer. Would love to come back, I truly recommend it !

V helpful. Took me into town to est. The safari he organized was fantastic. V good driver and food. Organized for clothing I left behind to be delivered to me.
