You can tell they really know what they’re doing. What I loved most was the friendly atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where backpackers and travelers actually talk to each other. The common area, the garden, and the eco-kitchen setup made it easy to relax and meet new people. The host was always available, helping with transport, local tips, and anything we needed. For the price, you get amazing value, great location, good facilities, and warm hospitality. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly, social, and comfortable base near Yala, Go Yala Hostel is the place. Highly recommend! 🐆🌿

Situated in Tangalle, 1.1 km from Unakuruwa Beach, Kottamba Bunk Resort and Hostel features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The host and location were fantastic, situated right by the entrance to Medaketiya Beach with safe swimming area and close to the stunning Mangrove Beach and national parks. The service was unexpectedly excellent, and the breakfast offered a variety of delicious options for the price. Best lassi in this area.

I actually stayed at his river cabana hostel which was nice. Had great views and was very comfortable. Host was a very cool and chill guy.
