Situated in Kandy and with Kandy City Center Shopping Mall reachable within 1.5 km, Eden Kandy features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. I got stuck in Kandy during the latest cyclone. The hostel owner was so sweet and caring for all of us. Thank you again for taking care of us during such a difficult time! I would definitely recommend the hostel, it's very beautiful!

Boasting a shared lounge, a terrace as well as a restaurant, Carls' Corner is situated in the centre of Kandy, 1.9 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. The beds are comfy and Carl is just the absolute best! Best Host I had in Sri Lanka. Good recommendations and such a good service. Also I learned a lot from him about Sri Lankan politics and history! Very very good!

Located in Peradeniya, 3.4 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, Ella Way Resort-Peradeniya provides accommodation with a garden and private parking. It was a wonderful day in the heart of Peradeniya.This place could be the best place to stay before you visit Ella or Kandy city.you can get Kandy -Ella train at Sarasaviuyana train station or at Peradeniya train station..Both are located 2.5km away from this place.Kandy city centre, Kandy Tooth relic temple is 6km away.Peradeniya Royal botanical garden is 3km away.you can visit Kandy Tooth relic temple,Bahirawakanda Temple,Udawatte tropical rain forest and temple is 30 minutes travel by Bus or tuk tuk.you don't want to go through a busy ,big city and make sure to get a seat on a train or a bus to travel Ella or Sigiriya rock fortress...you can get it by just walking 20 minutes.we decided to book this homestay a few stops before Kandy city.it was a great choice as not only we got a help to get a ticket to Ella train.We spent wonderful day with host family with their 3 kids talking,playing cards,.Host family speak very good English and they are well mannered with foreigners.we decided to stay two more days to visit Peradeniya university garden .it is away from walking distance.According to my travel experience Kandy/Peradeniya are best cities to stay and look around and taste traditional Sri Lankan foods,fruits and culture.They offered us traditional Sri Lankan food for breakfast,lunch and dinner.it was extremely delicious and low in spice you can get nice mountain hike by walking to Hanthana mountain range.it is 500m away.This place is located very next to Kandy-Mahakanda Bus road ..it gets 40 minutes by Bus and 9 km away from Kandy city centre ..If I visit Sri Lanka again ,I will book this place..sure ....I am a Denmark traveller and this experience is amazing...

Boasting a garden and free WiFi, Nature Lovers' Hostel is situated in Kandy, 1.8 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens and 6.7 km from Kandy railway station. Asanka is an amazing host, he cooked us the best kottu we had and showed us his garden, plants and herbs and the nearby temple. He has a good knowledge about history, religion and other interesting topics, great companion to have a tour with or have a tea at his place. He made our stay unforgettable. Thank you so much!

Well set in Kandy, Cozy Nest Kandy Villa provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. the place was clean and tidy. the manager Shan was great and helped out with all the needs. i was travelling unplanned. Mr. Anuradh, the owner, helped me out with the sightseeing locally. he also very honestly suggested me the itinerary, to follow further. plan to visit the place next year with my family.

Lovely Stay at Bliss Hotel! Had a wonderful experience at Bliss Hotel in Kandy. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the view was absolutely beautiful. It’s in a peaceful location but still close enough to explore the city. Would definitely stay here again!
