Doesn’t feel like anything else we tried in Sri Lanka: very clean, very luxurious place and professional staff. Very good breakfast and spacious room. Even if the bathroom could be cleaner, the overall experience was very good!

Carls' Corner está ubicado en el centro de Kandy y tiene salón compartido, terraza y restaurante. The beds are comfy and Carl is just the absolute best! Best Host I had in Sri Lanka. Good recommendations and such a good service. Also I learned a lot from him about Sri Lankan politics and history! Very very good!

Ku'Vana Hostel Kandy está ubicado en Kandy, a 1,8 km de Estación de tren de Kandy, y ofrece alojamiento con un jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis y salón compartido. Superb hospitality, the most friendly family ever. The host Chathuranga and his mother felt like family, his mum even baked a cake for my arrival afternoon tea.! HUGE BREAKFAST, I couldn't finish it. So many delicious Sri Lanka favourites, coconut roti, dhal, rice, chicken curry, mango, sambal and some sweet fritters, I can't remember the name See the photos, comfortable bed, white fresh sheets, fluffy white towel and thin blanket, Fan in the room, my room had a TV monitor with games console but I didn't use it. 4 toilet cubicles outside, and 2 shower cubicles with HOT WATER. Another 2 wash basins inside, outdoor terrace smoking area. Wonderful views, they offered tea and coffee often, I brought my own instant coffee so they gave me a kettle. Electric power sockets next to each bed. Square pin, adaptor maybe required but they gave me one. Quiet peaceful area. Walking distance to the town, or jump on any bus from the main road, tuk tuk access if required. Access up a driveway from the road, see my photos. (Google may show you right outside a house on the road but the hostel Homestay is accessed from a driveway / slip road 30 metres before) it's just 50 metres up this driveway. Fan jn the room, I didn't use, the room was perfect temperate. It's January now. Handsoap in the washroom. Comfortable lounge chairs and seating area inside and out. The family has only recently started taking guests into the Homestay and I encourage you to stay and enjoy this wonderful Sri Lanka hospitality. I've been to kandy dozens of times over the years and I believe Kandy needs more quality hostels like this with top quality comfortable service and facilities at a budget price. If you are even considering you're options I would definitely choose this because the breakfast included blows the competition away. Anywhere else you would pay good money for the breakfast. As it is included it's a no brainier decision.

Hosts are very friendly! Included breakfast was delicious and I recommend you get your other meals from them. I had the grilled fish and I feel like I robbed them for what was paid for a whole fish. The beds were comfortable, lockers provide security for valuables and a kettle let's you make your own coffee or tea, free parking for my scooter was a bonus and third stay was great value.

Ella Way Resort-Peradeniya está ubicado en Peradeniya, a 3,4 km de Real Jardín Botánico de Peradeniya, y ofrece alojamiento con un jardín y estacionamiento privado. That was a very nice stay, the hosts were caring and nice. Very recommended to stay. It’s closer to a Dhamma Kuta vipassana center, so for me it was comfortable to stay before meditation

Nature Lovers' Hostel está ubicado en Kandy, a 1,8 km de Real Jardín Botánico de Peradeniya y a 6,7 km de Estación de tren de Kandy, y ofrece un jardín y wifi gratis. Asanka was extremely helpful! He taught us lots about Sri Lanka. He went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after. He helped us get tickets on the Ella train. The breakfast was DELICIOUS!

Cozy Nest Kandy Villa está ubicado en Kandy, a 16 minutos a pie de Museo Kandy, y ofrece alojamiento con un jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis, salón compartido y una terraza. The bed was quite comfortable. The air con worked well. Breakfast was pretty good too. It's nice and quiet in the area. Even with my door really close to the front lobby I didn't hear too much from outside. There was a good shower with great hot water and a divider/curtain (which is quite a luxury in SE Asia). Shower gel and shampoo provided. Nice and clean too. The room was also spacious (though it is a 3 person room technically). The staff were also friendly and helpful.

Execelente alojamiento en las afueras de Kandy. Hermosa casa en medio de la naturaleza con livings internos y externos muy bonitos y cómodos. La atención de las dos hermanas es personalizada y están atentas a brindar asesoramiento para las excursiones y otras cuestiones. Cenamos allí y la comida es exquisita ya muy buen precio. El dormitorio era muy cómo con un vestidor y un baño enorme. El día anterior a irnos empezó el ciclón y se preocuparon e insitían en que nos quedáramos para no arriesgarnos. Habla de la preocupación hacia sus huéspedes, cosa que agradecemos mucho. Lo recomendamos fervientemente.

Kurumbunkz Kandy está ubicado en Kandy, a a menos de 1 km de Museo Kandy, y tiene alojamiento con una terraza, estacionamiento privado gratis, un restaurante y un bar. Their rooftop restaurant was awesome! Had their breakfast burrito twice and think it was one of the tastier things I had in Kandy. They're more of an upscale hostel, so the rooms are clean and well-designed. A little pricier, but certainly worth it if you're wanting a slightly more comfortable dorm experience! Location is good, about a 15 minute walk into the town alongside the lake and about 5 minutes from one of the performance centers for the Kandy traditional fire-dance experiences.
