I liked absolutely everything about my stay here: spacious female dorm with big table and separate zone for suitcases, spacious bathroom as well, comfy bed with a socket and private lighting. The whole area is super clean. You have access to tea and coffee 24/7 and can enjoy them on the terrace with nice view. It's around 20 min walk from the centre or 200-300 lkr by tuktuk. Udaya, the host, is super nice and super helpful, always in touch and giving tips on every question you have.

The decorative elements and the details really give you a cozy feeling. The room is clean and spacious with a beautiful view. Breakfast was so delicious, and they even catered to our vegan needs. We got a true local experience through interactions with the host, and we are really grateful. Would highly recommend:)

The room is simple and very comfortable, with clean and cozy beds that made for a good night’s sleep. Bathrooms are well maintained and tended to daily, which we really appreciated. The facilities are straightforward, but everything worked smoothly, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The location is excellent just a short distance from the city centre, making it easy to explore Kandy, yet still quiet enough to enjoy some peace. What really stood out was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast each morning was a highlight delicious, generous, and a great start to the day. For the price this hostel offers exceptional value. Clean, convenient, and filled with genuine hospitality it felt more like staying with friends than in a hostel. We would definitely choose to stay here again when we return to Kandy.

I Kandy, bare 1,8 kilometer fra Kandy jernbanestasjon og 1,9 kilometer fra Bogambara stadion ligger Palm Garden Home Stay. A Pleasant Surprise at Palm Garden! We booked Palm Garden without checking any reviews—only afterward did we take a look and feel a bit unsure. My husband even told me not to say anything about the booking, just to see how it was when we got there. But to our surprise, from the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. At the doorstep, we were greeted by Madu at reception, who welcomed us with the warmest smile—as if we had known her for years! 😊 Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious, with a large comfortable bed and a lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful view. It was clear that the staff really care about maintaining a high standard.
