Kandy District: Pesquise hostels

Em Kandy, a cerca de 18 minutos a pé de Centro Comercial Kandy City Center, Eden Kandy apresenta um jardim, quartos não fumador, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito em toda a propriedade e um salão partilhado. Doesn’t feel like anything else we tried in Sri Lanka: very clean, very luxurious place and professional staff. Very good breakfast and spacious room. Even if the bathroom could be cleaner, the overall experience was very good!

The guesthouse is beautifully designed, the host was lovely and super kind. She explains many cultural habits from the country and shred her traveling experience. Breakfast was also amazing. Cleanliness at its best. The location is very convenient to both walk to the closed famous temple or take a quick tuktuk ride to the city center.

Apresentando um salão partilhado, um terraço e um restaurante, Carls' Corner encontra-se no centro de Kandy, a 1,9 km de Centro Comercial Kandy City Center. The beds are comfy and Carl is just the absolute best! Best Host I had in Sri Lanka. Good recommendations and such a good service. Also I learned a lot from him about Sri Lankan politics and history! Very very good!

Ku'Vana Hostel Kandy situa-se em Kandy, a 1,8 km de Estação Ferroviária de Kandy, e dispõe de acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito e um salão partilhado. Superb hospitality, the most friendly family ever. The host Chathuranga and his mother felt like family, his mum even baked a cake for my arrival afternoon tea.! HUGE BREAKFAST, I couldn't finish it. So many delicious Sri Lanka favourites, coconut roti, dhal, rice, chicken curry, mango, sambal and some sweet fritters, I can't remember the name See the photos, comfortable bed, white fresh sheets, fluffy white towel and thin blanket, Fan in the room, my room had a TV monitor with games console but I didn't use it. 4 toilet cubicles outside, and 2 shower cubicles with HOT WATER. Another 2 wash basins inside, outdoor terrace smoking area. Wonderful views, they offered tea and coffee often, I brought my own instant coffee so they gave me a kettle. Electric power sockets next to each bed. Square pin, adaptor maybe required but they gave me one. Quiet peaceful area. Walking distance to the town, or jump on any bus from the main road, tuk tuk access if required. Access up a driveway from the road, see my photos. (Google may show you right outside a house on the road but the hostel Homestay is accessed from a driveway / slip road 30 metres before) it's just 50 metres up this driveway. Fan jn the room, I didn't use, the room was perfect temperate. It's January now. Handsoap in the washroom. Comfortable lounge chairs and seating area inside and out. The family has only recently started taking guests into the Homestay and I encourage you to stay and enjoy this wonderful Sri Lanka hospitality. I've been to kandy dozens of times over the years and I believe Kandy needs more quality hostels like this with top quality comfortable service and facilities at a budget price. If you are even considering you're options I would definitely choose this because the breakfast included blows the competition away. Anywhere else you would pay good money for the breakfast. As it is included it's a no brainier decision.

Hosts are very friendly! Included breakfast was delicious and I recommend you get your other meals from them. I had the grilled fish and I feel like I robbed them for what was paid for a whole fish. The beds were comfortable, lockers provide security for valuables and a kettle let's you make your own coffee or tea, free parking for my scooter was a bonus and third stay was great value.

Ella Way Resort-Peradeniya localiza-se em Peradeniya, a 3,4 km de Jardim Botânico Kandy Royal, e fornece acomodações com um jardim e estacionamento privado. That was a very nice stay, the hosts were caring and nice. Very recommended to stay. It’s closer to a Dhamma Kuta vipassana center, so for me it was comfortable to stay before meditation

Apresentando um jardim e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito, Nature Lovers' Hostel encontra-se em Kandy, a 1,8 km de Jardim Botânico Kandy Royal e a 6,7 km de Estação Ferroviária de Kandy. Asanka was extremely helpful! He taught us lots about Sri Lanka. He went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after. He helped us get tickets on the Ella train. The breakfast was DELICIOUS!

Com uma boa localização no centro de Kandy, Cozy Nest Kandy Villa fornece quartos com ar condicionado, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito, estacionamento privado gratuito e serviço de quartos. The bed was quite comfortable. The air con worked well. Breakfast was pretty good too. It's nice and quiet in the area. Even with my door really close to the front lobby I didn't hear too much from outside. There was a good shower with great hot water and a divider/curtain (which is quite a luxury in SE Asia). Shower gel and shampoo provided. Nice and clean too. The room was also spacious (though it is a 3 person room technically). The staff were also friendly and helpful.

Lovely Stay at Bliss Hotel! Had a wonderful experience at Bliss Hotel in Kandy. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the view was absolutely beautiful. It’s in a peaceful location but still close enough to explore the city. Would definitely stay here again!

Kurumbunkz Kandy encontra-se em Kandy, a menos de 1 km de Museu Kandy, e apresenta acomodações com um terraço, estacionamento privado gratuito, um restaurante e um bar. Their rooftop restaurant was awesome! Had their breakfast burrito twice and think it was one of the tastier things I had in Kandy. They're more of an upscale hostel, so the rooms are clean and well-designed. A little pricier, but certainly worth it if you're wanting a slightly more comfortable dorm experience! Location is good, about a 15 minute walk into the town alongside the lake and about 5 minutes from one of the performance centers for the Kandy traditional fire-dance experiences.
