Eden Kandy is in a stunning location, overlooking luscious rainforest. It’s really peaceful there, the spaces were clean, lots of areas to socialize or hang out solo/do some work if you need to. The breakfast is also delicious and there is free, clean drinking water. Udaya, the owner, is so incredibly helpful. We left Eden Kandy just before the cyclone and he continued to check in and support us to find safe travel for days after. Such a kind person - can’t recommend this hostel enough and will definitely stay again if I’m back in Kandy.

Cleanliness at its best. The location is very convenient to both walk to the closed famous temple or take a quick tuktuk ride to the city center.

If you want to experience the breathtaking sunrise from Ambuluwawa, this is honestly the only budget-friendly choice you should go for. The best part is you don’t have to buy tickets at the entrance the package includes your entrance fee, bonfire, and everything you need. Everything was so amazing, well organized, and totally worth it. Highly recommended!

Excellent Wi-Fi for working, excellent home cooking (also very cheap) and a great homely atmosphere. I stayed longer than planned. Highly recommended.

Mr. Anuradh, the owner, helped me out with the sightseeing locally. he also very honestly suggested me the itinerary, to follow further. plan to visit the place next year with my family.
